Meet Dr Claudia Brown, who has recently officially joined our team, after doing some locum work with us in 2025!

Coming to us from Sydney, Dr Brown is excited to embrace country life in Tamworth and become part of our wonderful community.

With a passion for all aspects of General Practice, she has particular interests in:
- Women's Health & Reproductive Care
- Sexual Health (she also does work at a sexual health clinic)

When asked what drew her to General Practice, Dr Brown shared that while she once considered Emergency Medicine, it was the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients and support them throughout their healthcare journey that ultimately won her over.

Outside of work, you'll find her:
- Lost in a good book
- Cooking up a storm for family and friends (especially her husband)
- Staying active and fit
- Planning the next perfect holiday (she swears she could have been a travel agent in another life!)
And fun fact, Dr Brown a twin, so be careful who you're waving to in the street!

Dr Brown says her favourite thing about Peel Health Care so far is the people. She tells us everyone has been so warm and friendly, both the staff and patients, just as we expected.

We're thrilled to have Dr Claudia Brown on board and look forward to the exceptional care she'll provide to our community.

Today marks the end of an era as we farewell our beautiful receptionist, Wendy.

Since joining Peel Health Care in September 2015, Wendy has been so much more than just a team member. She has been a steady presence, a source of kindness, and a familiar, comforting face for SO many of our patients and staff. Within our team, her collaborative spirit and quiet dedication have made a lasting impact.

While we are incredibly sad to see Wendy go (there were many tears shed in the office today), we are so grateful for everything she has given to Peel Health Care over the years.

Wendy, you will be greatly missed. We wish you all the happiness in the next chapter of your journey and can't wait to see what you get up to.
