Last week our Moree team attended a community soup day in support of Homelessness Week.
It was a huge success! They set up with Byamee, Quit B Fit, Moree Plains Shire Council, Carer Gateway, JobLink and Anglicare on the steps of the Town Hall and handed out soup, damper, tea, coffee, milo and juice to community members, all while shining a light and drawing attention to homelessness in our area. Our lovely staff member Fallyn cooked up a nice big pot of chicken and vegetable soup for the morning and we are super proud to say she returned to the office with an empty pot!
it is always wonderful to partner with local organisations, and we look forward to doing it more in the future.

Each week, we're sharing a story or fact that highlights the people, milestones and memories that have helped shape Centacare over the past 25 years.

Centacare has nine offices across the New England North West, but our support doesn't stop there.
Through outreach services, our team travels to many smaller communities across the region, helping ensure individuals, families and young people can access the support they need, closer to home.

Each week, we're sharing a story or fact that highlights the people, milestones and memories that have helped shape Centacare over the past 25 years.

Youth on Track supports young people aged 10–17 who may be at risk of ongoing involvement with the justice system. Through mentoring, individual case management, family support and connections to education and community services, we help young people build confidence, resilience and positive pathways.

The program is free, voluntary and available across the New England North West region, with referrals made through NSW Police.

Join the Essential Skills in Men's Behaviour Change Programs (MBCP) training in Tamworth delivered by the Education Centre Against Violence. The course will run from 1–3 September 2026. This three-day, face-to-face course is designed for experienced DFV practitioners looking to build their knowledge, confidence, and practice.

🌱 Seasons for Growth is coming to Tamworth! 🌱

Change and loss are a normal part of life, but they can be challenging for children to navigate. 💚

Our Seasons for Growth program is designed for children aged 6–8 years and provides a safe, supportive space to help them understand and manage feelings associated with change, loss and grief while building resilience and emotional wellbeing.

📅 When: Tuesdays, Commencing 11th August *** New Date!
🕞 Time: 3:30pm – 4:30pm
📍 Where: Centacare Tamworth, 201 Marius Street

If your child has experienced changes such as family separation, the loss of a loved one, moving house or school, or other significant life changes, this program may be beneficial.
