Today is World Hepatitis Day.

Hepatitis is inflammation of the liver and can be caused by viruses, alcohol, some medications and certain health conditions.

Some forms of viral hepatitis can remain unnoticed for years, as symptoms may be mild or absent.

Depending on your health history and individual risk factors, your GP may recommend blood tests, vaccination or other follow-up care.

Have questions about hepatitis, vaccination or your liver health? Book an appointment to speak with your GP.

This National Pain Week, we’re recognising the many Australians living with persistent or chronic pain.

Chronic pain can affect sleep, movement, work, relationships and mental wellbeing. It is not always visible, but that doesn’t make it any less real.

If pain is lasting longer than expected, worsening or beginning to interfere with everyday life, speak with your GP.

Your doctor can help investigate possible causes and discuss treatment, referrals and strategies to help you manage your symptoms.

💚 You don't have to do it alone.

Everyone has times when life feels overwhelming.

Whether you're dealing with stress, anxiety, low mood, grief, burnout or simply not feeling like yourself, reaching out is a sign of strength—not weakness.

Sometimes, the hardest part is taking that first step. A conversation with your GP can help you access the right support, develop a plan, and connect with services that are right for you.

If someone you know has been quieter than usual, check in with them. A simple conversation can make a real difference.

Remember—you don't have to face it alone.

📞 If you've been struggling with your mental health, we're here to help.

School’s out, but health doesn’t take a holiday 💙

The school break is a great time to tick off any overdue health appointments while life is a little less rushed.

Whether it’s a general check-up, immunisations or ongoing health concerns, now is a good opportunity to get the kids booked in before Term 3 begins.

Healthy kids. Happy holidays ✨
