t’s National Wattle Day.

As a business that works closely with flowers, it feels right to pause and acknowledge Australia’s national floral emblem today.

Wattle has a way of marking the season, bright, familiar, and hard to miss. Some of us remember wearing it to school. Others know it mostly by the sneezing.

However it shows up for you, it’s a small part of the landscape many of us grew up with.

WT Howard Funerals is proud of its heritage, 104 years young this year. We have been providing funeral services in every corner of our local area, Johns river in the north, Gloucester in the west and Bulahdelah in the south, Today we travelled to Bulahdelah Uniting Church, nestled under Alum mountain, Bulahdelah is rich in history, its the site of the world's only above-ground outcrop of alunite and the logging industry was a big part of the towns heritage. We are very proud off our connections to the community of Bulahdelah.
