DNA Fee Policy reminder:

Tarneit Family Medical and Dental Centre has implemented a DNA policy whereby patients who fail to attend appointments will incur a fee of $30.00. A minimum of 8 hours’ notice is required for all appointments. However, we do understand emergencies can arise. Tarneit Family Medical and Dental Centre uses SMS reminders as a convenient way to remind you the day before of your appointment details. This service is a courtesy only and not receiving your SMS reminder is not a valid reason to miss your appointment. It is your responsibility to be aware of your appointment details, and to arrive on time or reschedule with sufficient notice. Tarneit Family Medical and Dental Centre reserves the right to request these fees are paid in full before another appointment can be made. You may also be limited in the way you can book in the future for repeat, serious offenders.

From the 1st of November 2025, Tarneit Family Medical And Dental Centre is a fully bulk billing clinic which means all standard consultations will be bulk billed to those that hold a valid Medicare Card.

Please note fees will still apply for procedures, allied health services and did not attends.

If you do not hold a valid Medicare Card, private fees for consultations will remain payable on the day.

Tarneit Family Medical and Dental Centre is very pleased to announce that from the 01.11.25 we are returning to a bulk billing practice. This means we will bulk bill GP consultations for patients with a valid and current Medicare Card. Some Procedures and Allied Health Services may incur a private fee.

Tarneit Family Medical And Dental Centre Welcomes Physiotherapist Poonamdeep Kaur.

Poonamdeep Kaur is an experienced physiotherapist with over 12 years of expertise in musculoskeletal care. She holds a bachelors of physiotherapy and a masters degree in physiotherapy (orthopedics). Poonam has a keen interest in spinal pain and tendon injuries, ensuring comprehensive care for a wide range of conditions. She utilizes specialised techniques to manage these concerns and integrates dry needling into her treatments. Additionally, she has a strong passion for children’s, both men’s and women’s health, with a particular focus on pelvic health, incontinence, and pregnancy-related conditions.

She provides expert treatment:
- Musculoskeletal physiotherapy including strains, sprains and ligament injuries.
- Shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee and ankle joint pain and injuries.
- Orthopedic pre and post operatives rehabilitation.
- Workplace, road traffic injuries (TAC), NDIS.
- Chronic conditions.
- Paediatric physiotherapy.
- Men’s, Women’s health Physiotherapy.

Humphrey Wong, the principal dietitian of 211 Nutrition, has a profound passion for empowering individuals and the community to achieve their optimal health goals through personalised nutrition treatment. He pursued clinical practices at prestigious healthcare institutions, where he honed his skills in clinical nutrition assessment, diagnosis, personalised dietary advice, and evidenced-based nutrition treatments.

Armed with diverse clinical experiences, Humphrey has consistently demonstrated his dietetics expertise in managing Type 1 / 2 / gestational diabetes, Overweight, Malnutrition, Food intolerance and a diverse caseload of chronic health conditions such as chronic kidney disease (CKD), Irritable bowels syndrome (IBS), Inflammatory bowels disease (IBD), Diverticular disease, Oncogenic conditions, Fatty liver, Hypertension, Hypercholesterolemia and Dyslipidemia.
