I love packing up the studio and bringing yoga to special occasions 🥰 It was such a pleasure to meet this lovely group and share a private yoga session as part of their hens celebration on Saturday morning.

Kind words from our Mums & Bubs class 🤍

One of the most beautiful parts of teaching Mums & Bubs Yoga is seeing mums create space for themselves while also being able to care for their little ones.

This class is designed to be a gentle, welcoming space where you can move your body, rebuild strength, reconnect with yourself and enjoy some time just for you — with your baby right there beside you 🫶

No pressure for babies to be quiet or settled the whole time — feeding, cuddles, rocking and pauses are all part of the practice 🤍

✨ 1 year of the Awakind Yoga studio ✨

Today marks one year since opening the doors to this little studio, and my heart is so full of gratitude.

What started as a dream to create a space where people could slow down, reconnect and nurture their mind and body has grown into such a beautiful community.

Thank you to every person who has stepped onto the mat, shared their energy, supported this journey and helped Awakind Yoga grow. Every class, every conversation and every connection has shaped this space.

Together, we’ve also planted 121 trees through every studio class — a small reminder that the practices we share can create ripples beyond ourselves. 🌱

I’m so grateful for this first year of growth, connection and community, and I can’t wait to see what the next chapter brings.

"Mum! Do Downward Dog with me!” 🥰

He doesn’t actually do many poses with me in class — most of the time it’s cuddles, giggles and affection 💕

But, he is always watching, observing, and absorbing. Our little ones are sponges, and the environments they grow up in help shape the way they see the world. 🤍

Growing up, I don’t remember seeing many people prioritising their own wellbeing — taking time to care for their bodies, their minds, and their nervous systems.

Now, my little man gets to see not only me, but other beautiful mums choosing to prioritise themselves while still staying deeply connected with their babies. 🫶

And that’s one of the things I love most about Mums & Bubs Yoga — it’s not about perfect poses or a quiet practice. It’s about showing our children that caring for ourselves matters too.

I truly love what I do. ❤️

Mums & Bubs Yoga is moving to Thursdays at 10am! 🤍

After hearing from a few local mums, I've decided to move the class to Thursdays to make it easier for more families to join us. Everything else will stay the same—a relaxed, baby-led class where you can gently move your body, connect with your little one, and enjoy time with other local mums in a welcoming, cosy space.

What is a Mother's Blessing? 🌸

A Mother's Blessing is a heartfelt gathering that honours a woman as she prepares to step into birth and motherhood.

Unlike a baby shower, it isn't about gifts—it's about presence.

Together, the women around her gather to:
• honour the mother-to-be
• share love, wisdom and support
• take part in meaningful rituals
• hold space for this beautiful season of transformation 🌿

There is something deeply powerful about being witnessed during this threshold into motherhood. A Mother's Blessing is a reminder that she is surrounded by love, supported by her community, and doesn't have to walk this journey alone.
