Feeling a little stressed?

This simple acupressure point, Liver 3 (Liv 3), is one of my favourites to gently encourage relaxation.

Take a minute to pause, massage the point on both feet, and enjoy a few slow, deep breaths. Sometimes even a small moment of self-care can make a difference to how you feel.

Have you tried acupressure before?

Hi everyone.

Have you ever felt stuck because it seemed like there were only two choices?

Either this… or that.

But what if there were ten?
Or twenty?

Sometimes the solution isn’t black or white. It’s not about choosing between A and B.

It’s discovering C, D or even E.

Stay open-minded. There are always more possibilities than you think.

Have a great day exploring the possibilities.

Sometimes we feel stuck not because there isn’t a solution, but because we’ve convinced ourselves there are only two options.

Life isn’t always black or white.

When we pause, take a breath, and stay open-minded, we often discover possibilities we hadn’t noticed before.

The next time you feel like you’re choosing between A and B, ask yourself:

What else is possible?

Sometimes the best path is the one you haven’t considered yet.

Have a wonderful day exploring the possibilities. 🌸

Is your digestive system feeling a little off? The Earth Element is associated with digestion, nourishment and feeling grounded. One simple way to reconnect with that element is by spending time with the earth itself. Whether you planting, weeding, or simply getting your hands in the soil.

📚 Encouraging New Research into Acupuncture for Vulvodynia

Vulvodynia is a condition that can affect every part of a woman's life—yet many women spend years searching for answers before finding the right support.

That's why I was encouraged to see another well-designed study exploring the role of acupuncture in the management of Vulvodynia.

The researchers found that both the acupuncture and comparison groups experienced improvements during treatment. Interestingly, women in the acupuncture group were more likely to maintain those improvements over the following 12 weeks. The authors concluded that larger studies are needed to confirm these findings.

While no single treatment is right for everyone, it's encouraging to see growing research exploring how acupuncture may support women living with persistent vulval pain.

As a Chinese Medicine practitioner, I believe every woman deserves to have access to evidence-informed care and to know that there may be a range of options worth discussing with her healthcare team.

Research like this is another step towards better understanding women's health and expanding the conversation around conditions that have too often been overlooked.

Every woman deserves to feel heard, supported and offered compassionate care 🌸

📖 Read the study here:

Vulvodynia, vulvar pain of unknown etiology, lasting 3 months or longer, affects 7% of American women, and has no consistently effective treatment. We aimed to test the efficacy of acupuncture on vulvar pain and dyspareunia and explore the duration of the effect in a double-blind randomized controll...

People often ask me, "How many acupuncture treatments will I need?"

I like to compare it to going to the gym.

You don't go once and expect a strong, healthy body.

It takes consistency to help your body return to homeostasis.

As your body becomes more balanced, it gets better at maintaining that balance.

But life gets in the way. Stress, illness, poor sleep and busy periods can all knock us off balance.

When that happens, a treatment can help remind your body of the progress you've already made and support it in returning to homeostasis.

What does “heart health” mean to you? ❤️

In Chinese medicine, the Heart is about more than circulation. It’s also closely connected to our sleep, joy, and our connection with others.

I’d love to know… when was the last time you stopped and asked yourself:

“Am I happy?”

In Chinese Medicine, we see ourselves as part of nature. Just as the seasons influence our health, the people around us do too.

We weren’t meant to do life alone.

Research continues to show that strong social connections are linked with better physical and mental health. A simple conversation, a walk with a friend, or feeling part of a community can make a real difference to our wellbeing.

This week, I have a little challenge for you.

Reach out to someone you haven’t spoken to in a while. Give them a call, send a message, or invite them for a walk or a coffee. And if you know someone who might be feeling lonely, take that first step. Your small act of connection could mean more than you realise.

Looking after your health isn’t only about eating well and exercising. It’s also about nurturing the relationships that help us feel supported, connected and human.

Who could you reach out to this week?

Low energy, tension, cravings, digestive discomfort, restless sleep…
your body is always sending you cues.

The question is — have you been able to slow down enough to listen?

Sometimes, these patterns can be the body’s way of asking for a little more care and attention.

You’re welcome to reach out — whether you’re looking for a single session to reconnect with your body, or more ongoing support through a program, online or in person.

Sometimes you need to make a statement.

Not everything in life needs to blend in quietly.
Sometimes a fresh colour, a new direction, or a bold decision reminds you that change can feel energising too 💙

Some of my favourite memories were never the “perfect” moments. They were the interrupted ones 💛
Trying to do yoga… while little humans climbed on me, copied me, laughed with me, and turned every quiet moment into chaos and connection all at once.
Motherhood changes everything — your body, your energy, your priorities, your heart. And somehow, in the middle of the mess, those ordinary moments become the ones we treasure most.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the mums, carers, nurturers, and women giving so much of themselves every day 🌿
