Some curious research - but early days yet. It suggests that inflammation may be protective against long term/chronic pain - even if it hurts in the short term. But there are other ways of reducing inflammation after an injury - such as Ortho-Bionomy - without chemically blocking the action of neutrophils.

Researchers say more research needed into possible link between anti-inflammatory drugs and longer-term problems such as back pain

We are really excited to start training here in the Wollongong area.

All of us have had life 'happen to us' - none of us are perfectly symmetrical or perfectly aligned. More often than not our bodies are able to accommodate so-called misalignment without much of an issue.

Posture and alignment are dynamic states. We don't find the ideal alignment and stay there - we wouldn't be able to move or function with any grace.

What's more important is our tissues being able to respond flexibly to the forces that are acting upon them. In this way we have a dynamic balance that is able to adjust appropriately to the movements we are making.

Through working with the relationship between our neurology and the myofascia, Ortho-Bionomy helps us develop more cohesive and co-ordinated movement. This is essential for preventing injury, reducing pain and for rehab following surgery or injury.

Movement is medicine - but cohesive movement is a sheer delight.
