🧡Brunswick Hauora Wellbeing Clinic |
This Sunday 23rd August🧡

🌿If you’ve been feeling out of balance, carrying stress, experiencing pain in the body, or simply know it’s time to slow down and reconnect, this is the space for you.

📍 Sunday 23rd August
Balam Balam Place, Brunswick

🌿Our community clinics offer Mahi a Io, Mirimiri, Romiromi and Rongoā Māori, ancestral healing practices passed down through our tūpuna that support the restoration of balance across the tinana (body), hinengaro (mind), and wairua (spirit). Through hands-on healing, traditional Māori wisdom, and a holistic approach to wellbeing, these practices help bring the whole person back into balance.

🌿We also have a range of Rongoā Māori natural remedies available at cost price, making rongoā more accessible to our community.

🧡Our clinics operate on a koha basis.🧡

A koha is a respectful contribution offered in appreciation of the time, knowledge, and care received, this makes it accessible to all with individuals being able to give what the can rather than a set price.
Every koha helps us continue providing these community wellbeing spaces and supporting those who need them most.

🧡Kaumātua | Elders receive sessions free of charge.🧡

🌿Whether this is your first experience or you’re returning to continue your healing journey, everyone is welcome.

🌿Come as you are. Leave feeling more grounded, connected, and supported.

🌿 WE’RE LOOKING FOR ADMIN & BUSINESS SUPPORT 🌿

Ahikāroa Māori Healing is looking for a reliable and organised person to support the behind-the-scenes running of our growing kaupapa.

This will be a flexible, part-time role of approximately one to two days per week. The mahi may include:

• Scheduling and bookings
• Emails and general administration
• Creating and maintaining spreadsheets
• Stocktakes and product organisation
• Updating information on our website
• Helping us create stronger systems and structure within the business

We’re looking for someone who is organised, confident using technology, able to work independently and genuinely aligned with the values of our kaupapa.

The role is still evolving, so we’d love someone adaptable who can help us identify what systems and support are needed as we grow.

If this sounds like you, please email [email protected] or send us a private message. Please include a little about yourself, any relevant experience and your availability.

Based in Melbourne, with some mahi potentially able to be completed remotely.

🌱Round 2 - Te Ara o te Rongoā Wānanga🌱
Three day noho SEPTEMBER

We are excited to be opening the space for Te Ara o te Rongoā, a three day noho wānanga held over the long weekend in September

🌿Friday 25th - Sunday 27th September 🌿

This three day noho marks a new offering for us, created in response to what has been asked for and ready to be held.

Held in a marae style noho, we will live, eat, learn, and reflect together over three days. The wānanga moves between kōrero, embodied practice, reflection, and rest, creating space for integration rather than rush.

🌱Te Ara o te Rongoā brings together mirimiri, romiromi, matakite, connection to whenua and te taiao, and an understanding of how rongoā is carried into everyday life. For those living away from home, this space offers an opportunity to reconnect with whakapapa and culture. This wānanga is also open to the wider community who feel called to learn respectfully and in relationship.
