Tiny bits of nature. Some things only show themselves when you slow down and look closely.

These mosses have just come out with the last rain this week. They lie dormant in the dry summer only to sprout with the end of Autumn’s dryness.

Such beautiful fungi! The largest of these is only the size of a 10 cent piece! They come out with the rain. Chinese herbal medicine uses edible varieties of fungi for mental clarity, exhaustion and too much fluid.

Found them walking in the Lerderderg National Park near my home. Not sure they are edible.
