Found quite a few fish but really hard to get them to bite. Only rats over the side at this point and one micro rat ( I guess somebody has to catch one)

Another terrific workshop last night with presenter Chris Rippon giving a detailed “how to” on fishing Lake Monduran. Quite timely given the clubs trip next week. There’s still time to join us at Monduran even if only for a day.

Great workshop with DPI Fisheies officers Marlon and Matt clearing up numerous issues around PFDs, measuring fish crab, pots and with the usual room participation everybody came away more enlightened.

Next workshop will be a bit earlier on the 2nd September and will cover off fishing Lake Monduran focusing on camping, tackle and areas to fish amongst other topics. This night we will have guest presenter Chris Rippon.
So put this in your calendar it will be well worth it and quite timely with the club Monduran trip the following week.

29-30th August is our monthly 2 day fishing comp. You can’t win it if you don’t enter hey

26th August. Social lunch at Rainbow Beach Sports club. (Not the surf club)

7-11th September is our Lake Monduran trip targeting Barra. Accomodation site booking is required

19th October is our AGM Please come along

22-26th October club trip to Fraser Is. accomodation site booking is required .

29th November Club Christmas Party at TCB Country Club
