As always, there has been plenty happening at Maryborough. We recently said goodbye to our wonderful volunteer crafters, who have brought so much joy to residents through their patience, kindness and generous supply of creative materials. Their time, support and encouragement have been truly appreciated by residents, staff and families alike, and they will be greatly missed.

Residents also had a fantastic time on our pirate themed dress up day. From costumes to laughter and shared fun, the day brought smiles all around and created another memorable moment for everyone involved.

On Friday, 24 July, both residents and staff celebrated National Pyjama Day at Maryborough Community Aged Care. To top off the day, our entertainers, Vic and Gail, performed during Happy Hour, providing a wonderful afternoon of music and entertainment. It was a fun-filled day enjoyed by all!

There was plenty of excitement at Maryborough Community Aged Care when our residents welcomed Animal Magic on the Move on Wednesday, 8 July.

Residents enjoyed spending time with a variety of furry and feathered visitors, including chickens, rabbits, and guinea pigs. The morning was filled with gentle cuddles, happy smiles, and lots of patting and grooming as everyone enjoyed interacting with these friendly animals.

A wonderful experience that brought joy, laughter, and meaningful connections for all involved.

Animals, animals, Everywhere and so much Fun happening at Maryborough Community aged Care.
Our residents had a visit from Animal Magic on the Move on Wednesday 8th July. Wonderful time for our residents interacting with the chickens, rabbits and Guinea Pigs. Loads of cuddles, a lot of happy pets being groomed.

The staff and residents were dressed to impress yesterday and the residents loved every minute of it. Adding plenty of colour, fun and enthusiasm to the day, while residents enjoyed exercises and indoor bowling the Maryborough way.

Plenty of laughs and some tears of joy as the colourful outfits and positive energy brought delight to everyone involved.

It was amazing to see how a little creativity, shared laughter, and fun games can brighten our day.
