All testing is in accordance with AS/NZS 4308:2023 collected by certified collector.

Flu season is on its way, and now there’s an easier option to help protect your little ones 💛

The best time to vaccinate? Right now, before peak flu season (June–September).

Influenza vaccination is recommended every year. Vaccines are updated each flu season to provide the best available protection against the strains most likely to spread in the community.

💡 New option available:
For the first time in Australia, children aged 2 to 11 can receive a needle-free flu vaccine, a quick nasal spray instead of an injection.

✔️ Gentle and easy
✔️ Strong protection against common flu strains
✔️ Available FREE through your GP and other immunisation providers

You can still choose between the nasal spray or the traditional needle vaccine — whichever suits your child best. The needle vaccine remains free for all children aged 6 months and over.

While good hygiene helps (handwashing, covering coughs, staying home when sick), vaccination offers the best protection for your family this flu season.

The Tom Price Medical Centre also has flu vaccinations in stock for those over 50, this vaccination is free for those over 65.
