We are sad to say that its Brodi's last week at Toormina Physio. Brodi has been a valued member of our team for 3 years, first as an Allied Health Assistant and then as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist. We are so proud of how much Brodi has grown during his time with us, he is a caring, committed and highly valued member of our team and we wish him all the best on his future endeavours. Part 4 of our introduction series and we couldnt do one of our surf rat twins and not the other!

🏄 Levi Taylor 🥁
The other half of the “Surf Rat Twins,” Levi joined the Toormina Physiotherapy team in August 2025. With his easy-going nature and enthusiasm for helping people, Levi brings great energy and support to both our patients and physio team.

Outside of work, Levi’s biggest passion is music. He’s the talented drummer for the amazing local band Temperate, well known across the Coffs Coast and beyond. Temperate have shared the stage with some of Australia’s biggest acts — including Spiderbait, Tones and I, and Eskimo Joe — during their tours through our region.

When he’s not behind the drum kit or in the clinic, you’ll often find Levi out in the surf, making the most of the beautiful Coffs Coast waves. Whether he’s keeping the rhythm on stage or catching the next set, Levi brings dedication, creativity, and a positive spirit to everything he does.

🏋️‍♀️ TOORMINA PHYSIO – MARCH SQUAT CHALLENGE UPDATE 🏋️‍♀️

Hey Toormina Physio family!

We’re heading into the last full week of the March Squat Challenge for the March Charge supporting Breast Cancer Network Australia, and Gemma, Jody S and Sineidin have been battling away all month. Safe to say they’re definitely feeling the effects by now! 😅

If you’d like to support them in this final week, you can donate using the link below. Every contribution—big or small—helps support an incredibly important cause.

Thanks so much to everyone who has supported them so far and helped us make a difference. 💕

56 Australians will be diagnosed with breast cancer today and a further 9 will die. We want to make a difference to the lives of those 56 Australians impacted by the disease - that is why we are taking on the Squat Challenge to raise vital funds for world-class breast cancer research. But we need yo...

⭐ STAFF PROFILE ⭐
Part 3 of our little mini series of staff introductions. Everyone would have had a little introduction to Tyler a few weeks ago, when he answered some questions for us, but here is a little deeper dive into Tyler.

🏄 Tyler Gould ⚽
One half of the Toormina Physio’s “Surf Rat Twins,” Tyler joined the Toormina Physiotherapy team in June 2025 and has been a constant presence ever since. Known around the clinic for his upbeat attitude and easy-going nature, Tyler brings great energy and a strong commitment to helping patients feel their best and smash their goals.

Once recognised as Ryan Papenhuyzen’s doppelgänger, Tyler recently completed his Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science right here in Coffs Harbour at Southern Cross University. His studies have given him a solid foundation in human movement, rehabilitation, and performance — skills he puts to great use supporting our physiotherapists and clients every day.

When he’s not in the clinic, you’ll usually find Tyler out in the surf, making the most of the beautiful Coffs Coast waves. In the winter months, he swaps the surfboard for the soccer field, playing for the Woolgoolga Wolves. Whether he’s catching the next set, scoring a goal, or assisting patients in their recovery, Tyler brings enthusiasm, teamwork, and a love of the coastal lifestyle to everything he does.

Turns out we have three staff members chasing silverware this weekend! 🏆

Adding to our earlier post, Dave will be lining up for Sawtell Cricket Club in the Coffs Harbour District Cricket Association First Grade Grand Final this weekend. Even more impressive — Sawtell have gone through the entire season undefeated!

Let’s just hope they don’t suffer the same fate as the Toormina Physio OzTag team… 😅. Thankfully Sean hasn’t been called up as a last-minute cricket recruit, which means he’ll still be competing at the NSW OzTag State Cup this weekend.

Best of luck to Dave and the Sawtell boys, and congratulations on an incredible season so far! Bring home the silverware! 🏆💙💛
