CLINIC UPDATE:
🌳 🥾 Kelly & Hae-Uk Take on the Camino! 🥾🌳
In September, Kelly and Hae-Uk are heading off on an adventure of a very different kind — the Camino de Santiago.
They’ll be joining a group of friends to walk this ancient pilgrimage, sharing the journey, the scenery, the conversations, the challenges and, no doubt, plenty of laughs along the way.
There’s something wonderfully simple about walking. One foot in front of the other. Day after day. With time to think, to talk, to notice what’s around you and to simply be present.
It also has a beautiful connection with some of the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). In TCM, health is not simply about treating a symptom when something goes wrong. It’s about maintaining balance, supporting the smooth movement of Qi, staying connected to the natural rhythms of life and recognising the relationship between our physical, emotional and mental wellbeing.
There’s something particularly appropriate about undertaking a pilgrimage on foot. The journey isn't just about the destination. It’s about the process of getting there.
✨ September at Ondol ✨
While Kelly and Hae-Uk are walking the Camino, Alice and Alisha will continue looking after our Ondol community, offering acupuncture and naturopathy. So, if you need an appointment, there is still a friendly face waiting for you at the clinic. Kelly and Hae-Uk will be taking appointments again from 2nd October.
During this time, if you have any questions or queries, please contact the clinic at: [email protected] and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
As for Kelly and Hae-Uk, they’re looking forward to experiencing the Camino with friends — walking, talking, resting, eating, exploring and embracing whatever the path brings.
Perhaps the Camino will offer its own lessons in balance: knowing when to keep going, when to slow down, when to rest and when to simply enjoy the view.
Buen Camino, Kelly and Hae-Uk! ☀️
