Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers affecting Australian women, but it can also affect men too. While male breast cancer is rare, awareness and early detection are still incredibly important. 💗💙
Following conversations at this month's breast cancer awareness event, we wanted to acknowledge that breast health matters for everyone.
When breast cancer is found early, outcomes are significantly better.
BreastScreen Australia recommends women aged 50–74 have a free screening mammogram every two years. Women of any age with symptoms, concerns, or family history should speak with their GP. Men who notice changes such as a lump, swelling, ni**le discharge, or discomfort should also seek medical advice promptly.
At Darling Downs Radiology, our mammography service is:

🔹 Conducted in a private, comfortable setting
🔹 Right here in Toowoomba, specialist care without the drive to the city
