We're proud to announce that Drayton Medical Centre has been selected as one of only 33 Endometriosis & Pelvic Pain Clinics across Australia, funded through the Australian Government's Women's Health initiative.
Led by Dr Sweta Rani, our dedicated Women's Health GP, this specialised clinic is designed to support women experiencing:
• Endometriosis
• Chronic pelvic pain
• Painful periods
• Fertility concerns
• Perimenopause and menopause symptoms
Did you know that at least 1 in 7 Australian women are affected by endometriosis, with many waiting around seven years for a diagnosis? You don't have to keep living with pain, and you don't have to navigate it alone.

As NAIDOC Week comes to a close, we take a moment to reflect on this year's celebrations and the opportunity to honour the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

We have introduced a new AI Reception service to help make booking and cancelling appointments easier for our patients.

When you call the clinic, our AI Reception may assist with appointment bookings and cancellations, helping improve call handling and reduce waiting times.

Welcome to Drayton Medical, Dr Swapna Joseph!

We’re delighted to welcome Dr Swapna Joseph (MBBS, DGO, FRACGP) to the Drayton Medical team.

Dr Joseph is an experienced General Practitioner with special interests in women’s health, antenatal care, chronic disease management, mental health, and obstetrics and gynaecology. She also provides Mirena and IUD insertions, offering personalised and supportive care to her patients.

Fluent in Malayalam, Dr Joseph is passionate about delivering compassionate, patient-centred care and supporting the health and wellbeing of our diverse community.

Dr Saji Manuel (MBBS, FRACGP, MD – Internal Medicine) is a highly experienced General Practitioner with extensive clinical experience, including many years of practice in Australia.

He has a strong background in internal medicine and a special interest in general medicine, geriatric care, chronic disease management, and cardiological conditions, with a focus on complex multi-system disorders. Dr Manuel is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centred care and supporting individuals in managing both acute and long-term health conditions.

Dr Manuel is multilingual and can consult in English, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi, helping him connect with patients from diverse backgrounds.
