Deep Tissue massage combines some of the stroking and kneading movements of Swedish massage, with slightly more pressure. To reach the deep muscle tissue, we may apply pressure using massage techniques with the fingers, fists, elbows and hot stones to reach and stretch that deep tissue. This can help heal by releasing contracted areas of muscle and tissue, increases blood flow to the soft tissues and aids in reducing inflammation.
