Darwin dog and I filmed this guided relaxation about 6 weeks ago. Darwin stays for the whole video sniffing the breeze which is quite calming to just sit and watch. There are even bird sounds in the background. It is also on YouTube if you scroll back.
I'd love to hear if you have a watch of this video and whether you find it relaxing. I regularly have students fall asleep during the relaxation parts of my classes, even some who are always on the go and find it hard to stop and be still.
I popped my phone on a tripod and hit record. The camera is a bit far back but hopefully still cheery. It was a case of limited energy and taking a sunny opportunity to film in our lovely mossy forest during winter.
This is the same style of guided relaxation I use in my weekly Collective Rest videocalls. The next one is Wednesday 29th July.
I would love you to book to join me live or to get the recording.
You can also access previous Collective Rest recordings on my YouTube and i've added Chapters which are links in the description so you can start watching after the movement part if you only want guided relaxation.
I do think it helps to have the gentle movement leading into relaxation for people who have adequate energy and find it hard to go straight into trying to relax.
I hope your body and mind are kind to you today.
