Any health and personal information of patients collected by the Practice are handled with utmost confidentiality and in accordance with the State’s privacy policy. Recall & Reminder System:
Our Practice Clinical software uses a reminder system to follow up on patients’ medical results. Normally, we would send out letters to patients regarding their results and text messages to patients who give their consent to be contacted by text. Communication Policy:
As per our policy, we receive all patients’ calls and make efforts to return missed calls if message is left on our voice message system. When you call and we are on the phone attending to another patient, we will put you on hold briefly to allow you listen to our on-hold message advising that you call 000 if your case is an emergency. If not, our reception staff will return to you to take a message or direct your call to the appropriate person. If your call is for the doctor, it will be transferred to the doctor who, depending on the urgency of the call and his availability, decides whether to answer the call immediately or ring you back later.
