The Townsville Cyclones is Townsville's Wheelchair Basketball squad and representative team. The Townsville Cyclones and Sporting Wheelies Wheelchair Basketball Social Sports Program train at Townsville Sports Precinct, 24 Burke Street, North Ward on Thursdays nights from 6-8 pm during school terms. Everyone is welcome to come try this amazing fast paced sport. Boccia! The Sporting Wheelies Boccia Social Sports Program also runs during the school terms on Wednesday mornings from 9:30-11:30 am at the Murray Sporting Complex, Stuart Drive Annandale QLD 4814. This is a fun sport for all abilities and ages to socialize and get active!

Para Squad is a weekly program where kids and teens with disability try new sports, build skills and find a team that's genuinely theirs. This year that support meant fencing and cricket added to the rotation, new families finding us through Queensland Children's Hospital, and one of our long-timers moving up into Wheelchair Rugby.

Welcome back HECSA 🎉

Here's what that supports. Weekly Para Squad sessions for kids and teens who can't take part in mainstream sport, with new sports each term to keep them coming back.
