Community Reminder from MI Care
Over the past year, MI Care has transitioned away from being a Government‑funded service provider.
We no longer deliver CHSP, CHP or NDIS services — but support for island residents is still very much available through your chosen service provider.
You have real choice.
Magnetic Island residents can choose from several mainland providers who actively service the island, including:
• Home Is Best
• BlueCare
• Anglicare
We understand that ComLink are currently not taking on new clients due to staffing shortages, so it may be a good time to explore other options.
Did you know…
You don’t need to use the same provider for all your services.
You can mix and match based on what works best for you.
My Aged Care supports a wide range of services, including:
• Transport to medical and health appointments
• Domestic assistance
• Personal care
• Social support
• Meal preparation
• Home maintenance
• Allied health and therapy
• Respite
• Nursing services
If your needs have changed — or it’s been a while since your last review — it may be time to have My Aged Care reassess your support plan.
A reassessment can ensure you’re getting the right level of help to stay safe, independent, and connected.
