🚨ANNOUNCEMENT🚨
Our clinical psychologist, Dr Emma Black, is publishing her first book, The Pregnancy Myths Guide.
The Pregnancy Myths Guide developed out of Emma's work supporting pregnant women. Addressing common myths like that you should wait until 12 weeks to announce your pregnancy, that you should enjoy your pregnancy, enjoy your changing body, and that you will get baby brain. These many expectations can add to women's mental and emotional load unnecessarily in pregnancy. With thoughtful myth-busting, The Pregnancy Myths Guide also offers helpful advice, and real stories from real women who have navigated these myths.
It's a book for all pregnant women. A book to build your confidence, your calm, and to manage stresses in pregnancy.
We are happy to announce that we have The Pregnancy Myths Guide available NOW to purchase from JCUHealth reception. In the meantime, it is available to purchase or pre-order through local bookstores (Mary Who?, Dymocks, and QBD Willows).
