A gentle reminder for those hard days.

Sometimes we just have more on our plate than we can manage and that’s okay.

You’re not a bad mum.

You just need more support.

Growing up we’re taught to fear body fat and imperfection. To be repulsed by them. As though every goddess artefact ever gathered throughout history didn’t depict women as big hipped, soft bellied, full breasted queens.

We’re taught to hide every imperfection - every belly roll, every stretch mark, every scar.

To have evidence of all we endured somehow means we’ve failed as women.

But our bodies are literal life givers. Portals to other dimensions. Every human who has ever existed came from a womb of a woman. Yet here you are worried about your beautiful, soft postpartum belly.

Reverence is the highest form of respect, and your body deserves nothing less 🤍

Not sure who needs to hear this today, but it’s okay to want more.

We mothers are conditioned to just make do with what we’ve got. We have an incredible ability to just get on with things and make the best of it.

However, it’s absolutely okay to want more and have higher expectations. This doesn’t make you ungrateful. It makes you human.

You deserve to have your needs met too 🤍

There’s something very sinister within our society that makes us believe that wanting more is selfish or ungrateful.

But what if wanting more was actually okay?

What if having support and being held was the expectation rather than the exception?

You can be happy where you are and still expect more.

It doesn’t make you any less capable, it makes you human 🤍

Years can pass, your babies can be grown, life can return to normal — but the cellular memory of being completely isolated, exhausted and unsupported in those early weeks stays with you.

And that is the real hidden cost of an unsupported postpartum recovery. It’s not just a rough couple of months; it leaves a lasting mark.

We live in a society that leaves mothers to entirely fend for themselves after the initial excitement of birth fades.

But an unsupported postpartum is a maternal health crisis.

It isn’t just lonely.
It is actively harmful to mothers.

Postpartum support is a healthcare requirement, not a luxury.

Let’s stop letting mothers drown in silent grief and give them the wrap around support they need 🤍

The deeper I move into this work, the more I see how essential postpartum care is. Not just for the emotional and practical support it offers, but the direct link to better health outcomes across the board for mothers.

It’s something every mother feels. And the data supports it. Yet it’s rarely spoken about, especially in standard care models.

A supported postpartum is not just nice to have. It’s essential health care for you and your baby. It’s foundational to your long term health as a mother.

Until we start viewing it like this on a broad scale, then health outcomes for postpartum women will not improve.

By treating your postpartum wellbeing as seriously as you do pregnancy, you can change the status quo and ensure you aren’t one of the many women who silently suffer for decades all because they didn’t receive the support the needed in those early weeks after birth.

My Postpartum Mapping Session was designed exactly for this so you can call in your support team and plan a postpartum that will leave you nourished, rested and ready to start the journey of motherhood on the right foot.

Book yours today for just $77 before prices increase at the end of the month 🤍

This one is a little scary to share, but nothing like an ig declaration to keep you accountable.

If you haven’t prioritised yourself for a long time, this is for you too. It’s never too late to set new goals, try new things and challenge yourself!

I’d love to have some support for the journey 🤍

The village was deliberately dismantled. Not by accident — by design.

The nuclear family became a tool to intentionally and systematically sever connections from extended family and community.

And mothers were left holding everything. Alone. Raising children in isolation, in a system that was never designed to support them.

This is not ancient history. This is the architecture of our parents’ and grandparents’ experience. One that we are still living inside.

The village may not exist the way it once did. But you can still prepare.

That’s what the Postpartum Mapping Session is for — so you don’t step into the most significant season of your life without a plan.

We have known for millennia that mothers need support after birth.

Every human civilisation across recorded history has recognised that new mothers need tending. It's not a modern insight - it's an ancient, biological instinct. Until recently.

Somewhere along the way, that was forgotten.

We didn't forget by accident. We built systems that deprioritised mothers — and then told them it was their fault for struggling.

It wasn't then. It isn't now.

Don't blame yourself for a system that refuses to support you.
