- Lingering coughs
- Sinus congestion
- Fatigue
- Digestive disturbances

To give yourself the best chance at healing, remember to:

✔️Prioritise sleep/rest. The gym can wait.
✔️Keep warm (especially neck and feet).
❌️Avoid cold, raw food and drinks.
❌️Avoid dairy and mucus creating foods (banana/avocado).
✔️Eat warm, nutritious meals, such as soups made with bone broth.

Acupuncture is an evidence-based, mind-body intervention supporting the management of chronic pain.

As recently reported by the World Health Organisation, it engages central pain processing, reduces stress reactivity and improves sleep and emotional well-being.

Acupuncture supports ovarian health and influences fertility by:

✨️Improving micro-circulation to the ovaries
✨️Reducing pelvic inflammation
✨️Supporting mitochondrial function
✨️Regulating hormones

In a recent study using acupuncture to support reproductive function, patients saw a significant increase in antral follicle count following 12 weeks of treatment. The improvement in follicle numbers were still visible 3 months after the sessions ended.

In a world obsessed with the latest health fads, quick fixes, and one-size-fits-all solutions, Chinese Medicine takes a different path. It’s not about what’s trending, it’s about understanding your unique body, your patterns, and your story.

No two people are treated the same.
Because no two people are the same.

Your sleep, digestion, stress levels, energy, emotions — they all matter. Chinese Medicine looks at the whole picture, not just a label or symptom.

So while trends come and go…
Individualised care never goes out of style.

Yes! You absolutely should.

Acupuncture offers a safe, drug-free approach to supporting both physical and mental wellbeing during pregnancy. (Just ensure that your practitioner is an AHPRA Registered Acupuncturist.)

Acupuncture during the 1st trimester is particularly beneficial for those with a history of miscarriage or prior fertility struggles.

Some of the most common pregnancy symptoms that present in clinic:

1st Trimester
- Nausea & Vomiting
- Fatigue
- Headaches
- Constipation
- Stress/Worry

2nd Trimester
- Musculo-skeletal discomfort
- Digestive issues
- Sleep Disturbances

3rd Trimester
- Back and Pelvic pain
- Reflux/Heartburn
- Fluid Retention
- Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
- Breech Presentation

And don’t forget to include it in your birth preparation schedule. From 36/37 weeks, we also encourage ‘pre-birth’ sessions. These weekly sessions are individualised according to each woman’s unique presentation and may include points to assist in cervical ripening*, encouraging optimal positioning of baby, reducing stress/anxiety and promoting energy and stamina.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Menopause is a time of transition, where a woman moves into a new phase, also known as her “second spring”. TCM offers support during this period by identifying and balancing any underlying disharmonies that may cause a variety of symptoms, such as:

🥵 hot flushes
😴 insomnia
🤔 irregular periods
🥱 fatigue & brain fog
☹️ joint pain

Peri-Menopause, where a woman begins to first experience hormonal shifts, can begin years before Menopause. This is often the time when symptoms may begin to manifest.

There can be many factors influencing the menstrual cycle:

📌Imbalanced hormones
📌Stress/nervous system dysregulation
📌Immune factors
📌Poor detoxification
📌Digestive issues

We aim to restore optimal health by identifying and regulating underlying imbalances and combining traditional medicine with evidence-based knowledge.

We often hear that people would like to try acupuncture, but they are scared of needles.

The thing is, acupuncture needles are about 10 times smaller than the average diameter of an injection needle, and only about 2 times larger than the diameter of a human hair. They are hardly even “needles”.

Most feel very little sensation when we insert the needles, and the benefits are well worth it!

We have converted many needle phobic people. Be brave and give it a try 💜
