I printed off this chart for a session today with Mr 5 to help him express how he was feeling at the start (angry) and at the end of the session (excited) and that went well, however, I was VERY pleased I wasn't teaching him how to spell the word "excited"!!

I haven’t posted for a while as we’ve been so busy setting up our facility but yesterday I was just so inspired by a mum of one of my clients. She is dedicated and loving and kind and works so hard to find the activities and interventions that will help her daughter to live her best life. It turned out that equine work is not for her, but I know this mum will keep looking. I applaud her and all the parents who are doing their best to raise a neurodivergent child 💪🏼💖🙏🏼
