2023. Blank slate and an idea.
We just signed the license for another year at the Central Coast Wetlands and I am just so grateful for every single schmoggy that walks through those gates and makes .golden.grove the garden and community it is.
Without you, it doesn’t exist.

Alright alright alright…Once Upon a Garden. What is it really?
Here she goes.
Our second bundle, carrots, is out 🧡🥕
🥕 A story- The most ginormous carrot 🥕 - audio and written
🥕 3 per child recipes - video and recipe cards.
Our aim is to be a place where little people learn to love food and nature. We are here to support children with a positive life long relationship with food. Building their food literacy and confidence.
We just do that in our way. With story and cooking. As well as song, gardening and STEAM.

Winter is such a beautiful time in the garden. Pausing to slow down, focusing on tending to and adding layers of love and compost. Preparing for growth.
As the earth tilts away from the sun, we are going to trial a few afternoon groups these school holidays. Same rhythms, just different times. I wonder how this will feel with the children and am intrigued to observe a different energy.
During the school holidays we welcome older siblings and children. This does slightly change our offering as we adore multi age connection and care. But little darlings are most welcome like during term.
Please note our ticketing is slightly different. It is per child of each family. If you are having a second child under 12 months, they do not need a ticket but please include them on your booking so I am able to include them with morning or afternoon tea.
We can’t wait to see you all in in .golden.grove 🍊🧡💜🌞💛🥬🍊

An evening celebrating the Winter Solstice.golden.grove and adore hosting this yearly celebration 🌙 💫 ☀️ and look forward to connecting with you and your family in our community gardens.
We will serve you something warm to eat, make our lanterns, hear a story, sing some songs and enjoy the beauty of the Wetlands as we look towards Spring on the darkest night.
This is a ticketed event, for each immediate family. Please ensure you indicate how many people are coming and if there are any dietary requirements.
All tickets can be booked .golden.grove booking platform.

🌸🍐🐞💛Once upon a garden : stories and cooking for little people 🌸🍐🐞💛
An extension of all we have learned and experienced with and .golden.grove working with thousands of children, families and educators over the last 13 years.
Starting with our hearts 💕 connecting to food, nature, the seasons and our community through story. We have created an audio and printed version for you to explore together.
The story then initiates conversations and discussion about a myriad of themes , including the hero ingredient. Which then moves us into our hands 🙌 and into our cooking experiences.
All our recipes are designed as “per child” so that each child has the opportunity to experience every step. It also enables the experience to seamlessly transition to a range of learning environments.
With our recipes we have a simple video and recipe card to support the process and engagement with the children.
Eeep.
It was a goal of mine to get this out this May as it is my birthday month. I am now 44. And we just made it! 44 is reflected in the price for the remaining of May.
I look forward to seeing in your home or learning environment soon.
