Come one, come all to Club Kalina’s Creative Connections Art Show! 🎨✨

We’re opening our doors for a joyful celebration of creativity, community and collaboration. Our Club Kalina members and the talented Year 5 & 6 students from Bonython Primary School have been working together to create stunning artworks through our Creative Connections program — and now it’s time to share them.

🌟 There will also be a silent auction, where you’ll have the chance to purchase some of these beautiful collaborative pieces. All funds raised go directly back into supporting our programs.

The ACT Government is providing $80,000 to several community organisations who support older Canberrans to stay connected, informed, active and supported.

The 13 organisations receiving funding include:

🤸‍♀️ YWCA Canberra – for a year long series of workshops to promote active habits, group outings, and resilience building.

🎨 Community Home Australia – to run an intergenerational art-making program for older Canberrans living with dementia to be paired with Year 5-6 students from Bonython Primary School concluding with an art exhibition!

🧑‍🤝‍🧑We’re also supporting several important elder abuse prevention programs that make a real difference in people’s everyday lives, including in multicultural communities.

We have three small supported independent living houses in Gordon and Wanniassa and a vibrant community day centre Club Kalina in Greenway.

3 x Bedrooms available at Wanniassa (Shared Bathroom)
2 x Bedroom available at Gordon (Wheelchair Accessible, 1 x with ensuite, other with shared bathroom)

With a well trained, compassionate Registered Nurse led team offering 24/7 support, we provide a level of care and support unrivalled in the region.

We have four years experience supporting people living with:
Younger Onset Dementia
Parkinson's Disease
Motor Neurone Disease
Huntington's Chorea
Psychosocial, Neurodivergent and Mental Health Disability
Intellectual Disabilities such as Down Syndrome
We also provide high level complex clinical care including palliative and end of life care.
