Do you or someone you know have Alzheimer's Disease?

Central Coast Neurosciences Research has clinics at Tumbi Umbi and Erina headed by Neurologists A/Prof Sturm and A/Prof Crimmins.

We are looking for volunteers to participate in Anavex 2-73, a clinical research study assessing the effectiveness of this study drug for those with mild to moderate Alzheimer's Disease.

advise all our patients that our doors are still open for business..
COVID19 - we are taking this pandemic very seriously, our rooms as well as the entire Mingara Health building are sanitising regularly throughout the day, we have a lovely security man (Sam) monitoring all people entering, we provide and encourage all patients to use our hand sanitisers on entering/departing the building and also within our private rooms.
Telephone - Medicare is offering our patients who meet the chronic illness, elderly etc criteria telephone consultation or if you have skype we can also offer a Telehealth consultation, this means our Specialists will contact you at home (due to isolation) please be advised this great service is reviewed by referral and our Specialists will advise if this is viable to your condition or if you may have to wait until a face to face meeting is available.
We would like to extend to all people in Australia experiencing this very difficult time to make sure you are following ALL directions of NSW Health.
Stay safe and report any symptoms you may have to your local hospitals emergency department.

Central Coast Neurosciences Research (CCNR) was established in 1996.
A/Prof. Sturm co-heads the research at the Tumbi Umbi clinic, with his colleague A/Prof. Dr Crimmins heading the Erina clinic.
CCNR recruits volunteers for multi-centre, local and international clinical trials to treat neurological conditions. The current studies are in Alzheimer’s disease with new studies starting later in the year for people living with Parkinson’s disease.
