Intuitive reading for today: ANCESTRAL HEALING ✨

Deck: The Inner Temple Oracle

During these times, so much is coming up for healing. We’re discovering how hurt can be passed down from cell to cell through the generations. Our ancestors are the reason we’re here and without them, our soul wouldn’t be in human form. From them we may inherit many gifts, as well as patterns of conditioning and trauma that we long to be freed from. Many of these patterns are coming to the surface now in order to be processed and healed.

Sometimes, those who came before you weren’t able to understand, let alone process, what has thus far gone unhealed. Sometimes, it takes a courageous soul with an open heart, when the conditions are just right, to feel in order to heal, to process in order to free themselves.

This card is an acknowledgment. A nod toward the work you’re doing as a circuit breaker in your family system and in the collective. You’re being acknowledged for the part you’re playing in the healing of humanity through healing yourself and being with what is. You’re being acknowledged for the part you play in healing your ancestral line and the collective, too.

Maybe you’re in the midst of deep ancestral healing, or perhaps you’re finding your way back to the surface, having journeyed to the depths of the line you came into. Try your best to honor the gifts of that line as well as the difficulties. In doing so, you not only set your ancestors free, but you galvanize that energy and transform it into strength and support.

INNER TEMPLE ACTIVATION
I honor my ancestors for the life that they gave me. And I set myself and them free.

When Something Within You Shifts

Sometimes the deepest changes in our lives happen quietly. Nothing on the outside may have changed, the circumstances may still be exactly as they were, yet somewhere within us, we begin meeting them differently.

There can be a point where we realise how exhausting it has been to continually question ourselves. We replay conversations, search for answers, carry anger, hurt and disappointment, and wonder what we could have done differently. Without even realising it, pain can slowly become something we turn against ourselves.

Then something begins to shift.

Not because everything has been resolved, and certainly not because we suddenly stop caring. We simply begin to understand that acceptance does not mean approval, forgetting, or closing our heart. Sometimes acceptance is recognising that we cannot change another person’s journey, their choices, or the way they need to live their life.

There is an enormous difference between giving up on someone and releasing our need for things to be different.

We can love deeply and still allow space. We can carry someone within our heart without carrying responsibility for their choices. We can acknowledge anger without allowing it to consume us. And perhaps most importantly, we can stop persecuting ourselves for circumstances we cannot control.

That kind of awareness can be uncomfortable because it asks us to look honestly at what lives within us, including the emotions we would rather not admit are there. Anger, resentment, grief and disappointment are not signs that we have failed. Sometimes they are simply showing us where something within us still needs to be heard, understood and gently brought into the light.

And perhaps this is where something truly begins to change. Not necessarily in the circumstances around us, but in the relationship we have with ourselves.
We stop fighting what is.
We stop carrying what isn’t ours to carry.
And slowly, we discover that acceptance can coexist with love.

✨Perhaps peace begins when we stop asking ourselves to change what isn’t ours to change, and begin tending more gently to what is happening within us.

In the Quiet Spaces

There are times when we need to step away from the rush of everyday life, not because we are withdrawing from the world, but because something within us is asking for stillness.

We spend so much of our days responding, doing, thinking, caring, planning and moving from one thing to the next. Somewhere amongst it all, we can lose touch with the quieter parts of ourselves, the places within us that don’t need to achieve anything, explain anything or have all the answers.

This is where I believe in the beauty of the Sacred Pause.

A Sacred Pause is simply a conscious moment of stillness. A space where we stop doing and allow ourselves to just be. It might come through meditation or prayer, sitting quietly in nature, watching the ocean, lighting a candle, or simply taking a few uninterrupted moments to breathe and reconnect with ourselves.

In those quiet spaces, something begins to soften. Our thoughts settle, our breathing deepens, and we become more aware of what we are actually feeling. We begin to notice what the constant movement of life may have prevented us from hearing.

For me, this is one of the deepest gifts of spiritual practice. We don’t always need to search for another message or another answer. Sometimes our greatest guidance arrives when we become quiet enough to listen.

And perhaps this, too, is part of the spiritual awakening journey, learning to become still enough to hear the deeper wisdom within.

Solitude is not necessarily about being alone. It is about creating enough space within ourselves to reconnect with what feels sacred, with our own inner wisdom, with Spirit, and with the simple experience of being present.

Perhaps we all need a Sacred Pause from time to time. Not to escape our lives, but to return to them more deeply connected to ourselves.

Sometimes the quiet spaces are where we remember who we truly are.

We Are Now Within the Energetic Window of the Upcoming Leo Solar Eclipse☀️🌚💥 ♌️

There are moments within our journey when the energy around us seems to deepen. We become more sensitive, more reflective, and perhaps more aware that something within us is quietly changing. As we move towards the upcoming Leo Solar Eclipse, we are now entering one of those spaces.

Spiritually, an eclipse window can feel like a threshold between what has been and what is yet to become. What has been sitting beneath the surface may begin rising into our awareness. Old emotions can return, memories may surface, relationships can feel different, and truths we have perhaps avoided can become increasingly difficult to ignore.

This does not mean that something is wrong.

Sometimes our soul simply reaches a point where it can no longer remain comfortable within what it has outgrown.

Eclipses have long been associated with turning points and changes in direction. Yet some of the most profound changes begin quietly within us. A deeper knowing. A shift in consciousness. The recognition that something which once felt right no longer does. We may not yet know what comes next, but somewhere within ourselves we know we cannot return to exactly who we were before.

With this Solar Eclipse occurring in Leo ♌️, we are being drawn back towards the heart. Leo speaks to our inner light, our creative spirit, our courage, and the truth of who we are when we are no longer trying to become what others expect of us.
Perhaps this eclipse window is asking us to notice where we have made ourselves smaller. Where we have silenced our truth. Where we have forgotten our joy, our creativity, or the unique expression of Spirit that lives within each of us.

There is no need to force an answer or rush towards a new beginning.

Allow this time to reveal itself.

Listen more deeply. Rest when you need to. Notice what is leaving your life and what is quietly beginning to call you forward. Trust the wisdom of what you are feeling, even when you cannot yet explain it.
Sometimes the soul knows that a chapter has completed long before the mind is ready to understand why.

As we move towards this Leo Solar Eclipse, may we have the courage to honour what is being illuminated and the trust to allow what is unfolding to reveal itself in its own time.

Upcoming Leo New Moon & Solar Eclipse 20° Leo ☀️💥🌚♌️

There are some New Moons that gently invite us to begin again, and then there are Solar Eclipses that seem to draw a line between who we have been and who we are becoming.

The Leo New Moon and Solar Eclipse at 20° Leo invites us to reconnect with the wisdom of the heart. Leo is ruled by the Sun, and in spiritual astrology the Sun represents the essence of who we are.

This is not about becoming someone new or seeking recognition from the outside world. It is about remembering who you have always been beneath the expectations, responsibilities, and roles you have carried throughout your life.

Because this eclipse is closely connected with the South Node, it also invites us to reflect on the parts of ourselves that have completed their purpose. Sometimes we outgrow old identities, familiar ways of being, or the need to prove ourselves. Eclipses have a way of gently revealing what is ready to be released so that something more authentic can emerge in its place.

On a personal note, this eclipse feels deeply significant. It activates my natal Moon, Uranus, and Midheaven in Leo. As I reflect on the past few weeks, where life quite literally stopped me in my tracks, I cannot help but wonder whether that unexpected pause was preparing me for this moment. Sometimes life doesn’t interrupt us to hold us back. Sometimes it slows us down so we can hear what our soul has been trying to say all along.

The Moon speaks of our emotional truth. Uranus awakens us to new levels of awareness, often changing our perspective forever. The Midheaven represents our calling, purpose, and the gifts we are here to offer the world. When I bring these pieces together, this eclipse feels less like an ending and more like an invitation to express myself with greater honesty, courage, and authenticity than ever before.

Perhaps this is what eclipses truly do. They don’t ask us to become someone else. They illuminate the light that has always lived within us and gently encourage us to stop hiding it.

What part of yourself is ready to be seen?

How is life inviting you to live more wholeheartedly and authentically?

Honouring the Season You’re In

There is wisdom in recognising that not every season of life is meant for constant movement, achievement, or certainty.

Some seasons ask us to grow. Others ask us to rest. Some invite us to begin again, while others gently encourage us to pause long enough to understand where we have been before we decide where we are going next.

We can spend so much of our lives wishing we were somewhere else. Wishing we were beyond the challenge, through the uncertainty, or already living the next chapter. Yet every season carries something of value if we are willing to meet it with presence instead of resistance.

Nature never rushes from one season to the next. The Moon doesn’t skip a phase. The tides ebb and flow. Everything unfolds in its own rhythm. Perhaps we are not so different.

Over these past few weeks, life has stopped me in my tracks. It wasn’t the season I had planned, nor the one I would have chosen. At first, I wanted to move through it as quickly as possible. But slowly I realised this season wasn’t asking me to push harder. It was inviting me to nurture myself, to honour where I was, and to gently re-evaluate what truly matters.

Sometimes we become so focused on reaching the next destination that we forget to care for the person making the journey. In the stillness, I found a different kind of wisdom. I was reminded that nurturing ourselves isn’t something we do once everything else is finished. It is part of the journey itself.

Perhaps the season you’re living isn’t asking you to become someone different.

Perhaps it is simply asking you to care for yourself in a way you never have before.

What would it look like to truly honour the season you’re in?

How might your life change if you nurtured yourself with the same compassion you so freely offer to others?

Sometimes it takes a wake-up call to remind us that our health is our greatest wealth.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve had one of those wake-up calls.

Being so unwell has meant cancelling plans, postponing work I was genuinely looking forward to, and accepting that I simply couldn’t keep pushing through. If I’m honest, that hasn’t come easily. Like so many women, I’m used to putting one foot in front of the other and believing I’ll catch up on rest later.

This experience has reminded me that our bodies are incredibly wise. They have a way of asking us to slow down long before we choose to, and if we don’t listen to the whispers, they eventually find a louder way to get our attention.

I’ve realised that good health isn’t something to appreciate only after we’ve lost it for a while. It’s something to honour every single day. The energy to get out of bed, enjoy a conversation, laugh with the people we love, take a walk, or simply feel like ourselves are gifts we often don’t fully notice until they’re temporarily taken away.

My wake-up call hasn’t just been about recovering from an illness. It’s been about rethinking the pace at which I live, recognising that rest has value, and remembering that caring for myself isn’t something to squeeze into the gaps. It’s part of living well.

If this season has taught me anything, it’s that slowing down isn’t falling behind. Sometimes it’s exactly what we need to reconnect with what truly matters.

So today, I simply wanted to leave you with this gentle reminder. Please don’t wait for your own wake-up call before making your health a priority. Your body carries you through every season of your life. It deserves your care, your kindness, and your attention.
