Sometimes people ask me if work has been busy and if I say yes they assume that means lots of babies have been born, or if they ask if I’ve been on call and I say no they think I’ve had time off… so I figured a little post sharing a snapshot of a week (Thursday to Thursday) in the life of a doula who isn’t on call… because really, women’s work, birth work is never ever done!

- mother‘s helper sessions
- postpartum doula (newborn) sessions
- support worker shifts (NDIS)
- Doula mentoring call
- Talking to people about / promoting my classes
- business admin
- Advocacy work - 3 big topics at the moment
- Supporting Hygieia House and all that entails
- Business coaching - I’m in a biz coaching / biz upgrade course at the moment so trying to catch up on that
- Shamanic Womancraft Session
- Huge event on Saturday at Hygieia House - and associated planning / set up
- Planning a birthworker circle
- A few meetings

The of course, around all that, all the mothering and running of household ❤️❤️❤️

Life has been very FULL and busy lately - all good things of course and absolutely ZERO complaints… been loving bringing visions to life! But as Beauty-FULL as it has been it’s also been big and full. For me, but also for my littles!

So when I can feel that overwhelm and full-ness taking over I love to get out in nature. With the kids, with the dog or by myself … the ocean or tree, sunrise, sunset or moon… I’ll take any of the above

I also love to go to the beach / nature as part of my post-birth process… to decompress, to cry, to laugh, to process my experience, to reconnect with self / nature / reality

Some of this was from Crystal Castle and also just locally
