What a pleasure it was to work with this amazing judo team, Tsunami Judo Club, at the 2026 Australian Kodokan Judo Association National Judo Championships last weekend, 26 - 27 Sep 2026.

It was an incredible experience and a wonderful opportunity to contribute to and learn from these young and talented judokas, Lacey Griffin, Justin Collard and brock⚡️. I’m grateful to have been part of such a great team and to share in this memorable experience.

A massive thank you to Geoffrey Sensei for an incredible weekend! 🙌

Spring in Japan feels like a total resurrection. From the stillness of Kamikochi to the ancient, mossy paths of the Kumano Kodo, the noise of the daily grind finally fades into the background.
There is a unique power in a pilgrimage trail. Every step through the forest acts as a shedding of the old self, while the Sakura blooming overhead serves as a reminder that life is designed to start over. It’s more than a trip; it’s a return to what matters—refreshed, restored, and fully awake.

07 Nov 2025 Japan 🇯🇵& Taiwan 🇹🇼
🍁 Taking a short break to recharge in autumn 🍁
Stepping away for a moment clears the mind, resets focus, and brings fresh energy back to work.
Sometimes the best way to move forward faster is to pause, breathe, and come back stronger.

Less burnout, more clarity.
Less rush, better results.

Took some time in Japan to slow down, step back, and get real with myself. Challenged my comfort zone more than once — solo moments, long walks, quiet thoughts. Not everything was picture-perfect, but that’s what made it meaningful.
Grateful to Japan for the space, the calm, and the unexpected clarity. Can’t wait to come back. 🇯🇵🌿
