💙 Prostate Cancer Awareness Month 💙

This month, we’re raising awareness of prostate cancer and encouraging men to take an active role in looking after their health.

Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers affecting Australian men. Early prostate cancer often causes no symptoms, which is why talking to your GP about your individual risk and whether testing is appropriate is important.

Risk can be higher with:
✔️ Increasing age
✔️ A family history of prostate cancer
✔️ Certain genetic factors

If you have concerns about your prostate health, urinary symptoms, or a family history of prostate cancer, make an appointment with your GP to discuss your options.

Today is Red Nose Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness and funds to help keep babies and young children safe and support families affected by the loss of a baby or child.

Every baby deserves the safest possible start in life. Simple steps such as creating a safe sleep environment can help reduce the risk of sudden unexpected death in infancy (SUDI).

🧸 Keep the sleep space clear of pillows, toys and loose bedding
👶 Keep baby’s face and head uncovered
💗 Share safe sleep information with new and expecting parents

📢 Important Fee Update
From 1 September, our consultation fees will be increasing.

We have worked hard to keep our fees unchanged for some time; however, due to the continued rise in the costs associated with providing quality healthcare — including staff wages, utilities, medical supplies, and other operating expenses — an adjustment is now necessary.

This decision has not been made lightly. We understand that increases in healthcare costs can have an impact on individuals and families, and we remain committed to providing high-quality, accessible healthcare and excellent service to our community.

Our updated fee schedule will be available on our website. You are also welcome to speak with our friendly reception team if you have any questions or would like further information.
