The Flutter Effect is ready to take flight...
For the past few months, our Youth Committee has been quietly working behind the scenes on a project inspired by one simple idea...
One small act of kindness can create ripples far beyond where it begins.
On Monday 20 July, instead of enjoying the final day of their school holidays at home, our amazing Youth Committee will be coming together to prepare and release the very first butterflies into our community.
Each handcrafted butterfly (thanks to the team at Crafted by Remmy) carries:
💬 A positive message or quote
💛 A simple act of kindness to complete
🔁 An invitation to pass the kindness on by re-hiding or sharing the butterfly with someone else.
From that day on, you might discover a butterfly on a park bench, in a café, along a walking track, at the beach, or somewhere completely unexpected...
And that's where The Flutter Effect begins.
Because kindness doesn't have to be grand to make a difference.
Sometimes the smallest gesture can brighten someone's day—and inspire them to do the same for someone else.
