⚫ ~ APPOINTMENT FRIDAY ~ ⚫

July and August are now fully booked-apart from that 1 lonely appointment at the end of August. Aside from that, there are a couple of odd 30-minute appointments I've managed to squeeze in here and there.

If massage has been sitting on your "I'll get around to it" list, now's the time. 📝 🫥September appointments are open, and they do tend to disappear faster than people expect.

Wishing you all a peaceful and restorative weekend 🌟

A little heads-up: appointments are VERY limited from now until the end of August.

If you've been meaning to book in, pop online, have a browse, and choose a time that suits you. Booking ahead takes one thing off your future to-do list — and future you will be quietly delighted about it. 😊

No pressure, just a gentle nudge from someone who wants to make sure you get the time you need. ✨

See what's available and secure your spot before the diary fills up. 🖤

Every Friday morning I share what appointments are available over the coming weeks. If you've been waiting for a sign to book in, this is it. 😅

June has a couple of sporadic 30-minute appointments still available, while July is filling quickly, with only 5–6 appointments remaining for the month.

If you've been meaning to book in, now is a great time to secure a spot before the diary fills completely.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support. I never take for granted the trust you place in me, and I'm looking forward to seeing your faces in the clinic over the coming weeks. 🖤

Can you believe it's been a whole year since I reopened R. Massage Therapy? 🎈

After spending several years unwell and away from work, opening my doors again felt equal parts exciting and terrifying. I wasn't sure what this new chapter would look like, but what I found was something I could never have imagined. 🥰

To every person who has trusted me with their care, referred a friend, returned for another appointment, shared a kind word, or simply cheered me on from afar — thank you.

Whether you've been with me from the beginning or have only recently found your way to the clinic, your support has meant the world. This past year has been filled with growth, connection, learning, and so much gratitude.

I truly treasure the relationships I've built, the stories I've been invited into, and the privilege of doing work I love again.

Thank you for helping make this first year back so special. My heart is full, and I'm excited for what the next year will bring.

With love and gratitude 🖤

June is now almost fully booked, with only a handful of sporadic appointments remaining throughout the month.

Thank you so much for the continued support, kind words, and for trusting me with your time and care — it never goes unnoticed 🖤

July is already filling steadily as well, so if you’ve been meaning to book in, I’d 'gently' 😅😂 recommend planning ahead where possible to avoid missing out on your preferred time.

For those hoping to get in sooner, a cancellation list is always available and I do my best to accommodate where I can.

Today’s deep dive at Bodyworldsau was nerves, the spine, and spinal degeneration 🖤

As someone who works with bodies every day, it’s one thing to learn anatomy from textbooks and the internet… it’s another thing entirely to stand in front of it and realise just how much is packed into that spine.

The plasticine sitting down definitely grabbed my attention. That thick rope-looking structure running down the leg? That’s the sciatic nerve. CHUNKY boy 😅
Seeing it in that seated position made so much sense visually too. Prolonged sitting, compression, irritation through the lumbar spine/glutes… and suddenly you can really understand why sciatic pain can be so bloody intense and why it can travel so far down the leg ⚡

Then we have spondylosis/spinal degeneration. Thinning discs, bone spurs, arthritic change… the kind of stuff so many people quietly live with every day. Seeing the actual physical changes in the vertebrae was equal parts fascinating and confronting. It also gave me a whole new level of sympathy for people living with chronic spinal pain every single day.

The human body is honestly incredible. Resilient as hell… but also very good at letting us know when it’s had enough 😅🦴✨

Welp… y’all have been BUSY booking 😅🌿
June is basically hanging on by a thread at this point, and July is not too far behind.
If you’ve been meaning to book in, probably don’t leave it too long 🖤
Cancellation spots do pop up randomly, but they vanish pretty bloody quick lately.
Thank you for keeping this little clinic so busy and loved. I appreciate you all more than you know ✨

Today we’re looking at the elbows, knees and hips — and holy s**t, the human body is both amazing and slightly horrifying 😂🦴

Seeing osteoarthritis, meniscus degeneration, a knee replacement and a hip replacement in real human bodies really hits differently. You can actually SEE the wear and tear from years of living. Walking, working, training, injuries, repetitive movement, aging…daaaamn. 😳

The knee and hip replacements were so fascinating. I knew they were major surgeries, but seeing them like this really shows just how invasive they actually are. Bones cut, joints removed, metal components fitted into the body… and somehow people walk again afterwards. Human bodies — and modern medicine — are absolutely wild. 🤯
Also a pretty solid reminder that our joints put up with an unbelievable amount every single day 😅

Bodies are messy, resilient, adaptable little meat machines and I absolutely loved this exhibition. ✨
