Seen it a hundred times. He walks in saying he hasn't got time for this. Walks out standing straighter, looking ten years younger, asking why he didn't come sooner.

They won't book it themselves — that's the whole point.

Do you suffer from nerve-related pain?

You need to try an infrared sauna.

Infrared heat penetrates deeper than traditional heated air, gently warming the muscles and tissues around painful areas.

This warmth can help ease muscle tension, improve circulation and provide temporary relief from pain and stiffness.

And because infrared saunas operate at a lower air temperature than traditional Finnish saunas, they can be a much more comfortable way to get the benefits of heat.

If pain is something you deal with regularly, it could be worth adding an infrared sauna to your recovery routine.

Both of our private infrared saunas are full-spectrum.

A lot of people ask what that actually means.

Put simply, they use three different wavelengths of infrared energy rather than just one.

Near infrared is associated with skin health and cellular energy.

Mid infrared penetrates a little deeper, helping to gently warm muscles and joints.

Far infrared provides the deep, comforting heat that raises your core body temperature, promotes sweating, and leaves you feeling deeply relaxed.

Together, these wavelengths warm your body from the inside out, rather than simply heating the air around you.

Because of this, infrared saunas don't need to reach the same temperatures as a traditional Finnish sauna (like the one in our Bathhouse) to provide an effective session.

In fact, many people who find a traditional sauna too hot discover they much prefer the gentler, more comfortable heat of an infrared sauna.

Whether you're looking to unwind after a stressful week, ease tired muscles, or simply take some time to yourself, our full-spectrum infrared sauna is designed to help you leave feeling better than when you arrived.

Our new extended hours and a question for the regulars.

We just received another 2 tonnes of premium magnesium sulfate.

That's enough to fill both of our float pods with around 600kg of magnesium each (with plenty left over).

That's what allows you to float effortlessly in the water.

We source our magnesium from a salt mine in Germany. It's the highest quality out there because what you are floating in matters.

The feeling of weightlessness is unlike anything else.

The spa on the left is hot. The one on the right is cold.

Alternating between the two in our Bathhouse is known as contrast therapy—and it's one of the most effective ways to help your body and mind recover.

Heat helps increase blood flow, relax tight muscles, ease stiffness and calm the nervous system.

Cold helps reduce inflammation, decrease soreness, boost alertness and leave you feeling refreshed.

By moving between hot and cold, your blood vessels repeatedly widen and narrow. This acts like a natural pump, encouraging healthy circulation and helping your body recover after exercise, long workdays or periods of stress.

Many people also find contrast therapy:

• Reduces muscle soreness and fatigue
• Helps ease aches and pains
• Improves circulation
• Leaves them feeling more energised and mentally clear
• Promotes a deep sense of relaxation once they're finished

Whether you're training hard, working hard or simply feeling run down, contrast therapy is a simple, natural way to reset your body and mind.

And we are now open until 8pm on weekdays and 7pm on weekends. Giving you more time to relax and recover.

I thought sauna was just about feeling good.

Leaving with a clearer head, feeling more relaxed, and getting that calm, switched-off feeling that comes from sitting in the heat.

And yeah, one session definitely makes you feel better.

But the more you start looking into the benefits of consistent sauna use, the more you realise how powerful it can be.

Long-term Finnish studies have linked frequent sauna use with better cardiovascular outcomes, including lower risk of cardiovascular-related death and all-cause mortality.

That’s not some fluffy wellness claim. One of the major studies followed more than 2,300 Finnish men for around 21 years.

Cardiovascular disease was the underlying cause of 42,300 deaths in Australia in 2024 — around 23% of all deaths. So anything linked with better cardiovascular outcomes is worth paying attention to.

And all-cause mortality basically means death from any natural cause.

So when the research links frequent sauna use with lower all-cause mortality, we’re not just talking about feeling a bit calmer after a session.

We’re talking about research that suggests consistent sauna use may be linked with a longer, healthier life.

But the use needs to be frequent.

Not once every few months.

Not only when you’re already burnt out.

Consistently.

Because one sauna feels good.

But a sauna habit is where the real benefits start showing up.
