A little housekeeping 🤍 | Our pricing update from 1 September 2026

After a lot of consideration, I wanted to give you some notice about an upcoming update to our treatment pricing.

From 1 September 2026, our medical aesthetic service pricing will be increasing.

This will be our first price increase in years and the first ever on medical aesthetic services since 2017 — and one I have deliberately held off for as long as possible.

Like every business, our costs have continued to increase over the years, from clinical consumables/medications, professional insurances + registrations and equipment to training, and the ever-increasing costs of maintaining a safe, professional medical environment.

At the same time, I have always wanted Miss Aesthetics to remain accessible and provide exceptional care without unnecessarily increasing prices.

After Nine years, it is unfortunately time to bring our pricing into line with the true cost of providing your care.

What isn't changing?

The standard of care.
The time we spend with you.
The attention to detail.
The clinical education and ongoing training.
And our commitment to providing honest, individualised treatment plans.

I am incredibly grateful for every patient who has trusted me and supported Miss Aesthetics over the years, whether you've been coming since 2017 or you've only recently found us.

Your loyalty genuinely means the world. 🤍

If you have an upcoming appointment and have any questions or concerns about the new pricing, please don't hesitate to reach out before your appointment. I'm always happy to talk through your treatment plan and answer any questions.

*Although we no longer offer Afterpay or Zip anymore, you can still utilise your afterpay plus or aglow treatment wallet cards in clinic.

Thank you for continuing to support my little clinic, my team and the work we love doing.

Introducing our newest skin technology: BOMTECH RF COMBO INJECTOR

Straight from Korea 🇰🇷

So, what makes it different?

Unlike traditional microneedling, which relies on controlled mechanical stimulation, RF microneedling adds radiofrequency energy at a controlled depth.

The Bomtech system takes this one step further by combining RF, precision microneedling, suction-assisted treatment and a controlled intradermal delivery function within the same platform.

The result?

More ways to customise a treatment to the individual skin — rather than treating every face the same.

This treatment is designed to address concerns such as skin texture, enlarged pores, acne scarring and skin laxity.

-Full consultation and suitability assessment before treatment
- Treatments are customised
- Sterile, single-use cartridges
- Adjustable treatment parameters
- Progressive results rather than overnight transformation

And importantly, not every patient needs every function.

Your treatment regime is planned according to your skin's needs, goals, medical history and what is clinically appropriate.

This is customisable skin remodelling with a little more precision.

Your aesthetic plan should evolve as your body does.

Following weight change or hormonal transition, it may be appropriate to:
• Reassess facial structure
• Adjust treatment timing
• Shift toward regenerative support
• Avoid overcorrection

Long-term aesthetic care is not static — it is responsive.

Regular review ensures your plan remains aligned with your current physiology.

Collagen is a protein — and protein intake matters more in midlife.

During perimenopause and periods of weight change, adequate protein becomes increasingly important for:
• Collagen synthesis
• Lean muscle preservation
• Tissue repair
• Metabolic stability

Loss of muscle mass can influence not only strength and metabolic rate, but also structural facial support and recovery capacity.

Beyond dietary protein, some patients may benefit from targeted nutritional supplementation and gut optimisation strategies to support:
• Sustained energy levels
• Muscle maintenance and recovery
• Nutrient absorption
• Hormonal balance

Gut health plays a central role in how efficiently nutrients are absorbed and utilised. Supporting digestive integrity may assist in maintaining energy, resilience and overall wellbeing during hormonal transition.

In clinical practice, we may discuss evidence-informed supplementation and nutritional support options as part of a broader women’s health and weight management strategy. These discussions are individualised and based on medical history, current health status and goals.

Regenerative aesthetic outcomes are strengthened when internal foundations are addressed.

Surface treatments alone cannot replace systemic support.

Weight loss can change more than the number on the scale.

Significant or rapid weight change may influence:
• Facial volume distribution
• Skin laxity
• Muscle mass
• Collagen density

Medical weight management should consider metabolic health, muscle preservation and skin quality — not simply weight reduction.
When weight shifts, aesthetic planning should adapt accordingly.
Whole-body health supports long-term outcomes.

When structure changes, strategy must change.

Traditional volumising approaches focus on replacing lost volume. While appropriate in selected cases, perimenopausal skin often benefits from strengthening the dermal foundation first.

Biostimulatory treatments aim to encourage collagen production gradually, supporting structural integrity over time.

The clinical question becomes:
Are we building structure — or simply filling space?

Longevity requires foundation.

“Why doesn’t my treatment last the way it used to?”

This is a common question during perimenopause or even post menopause.
Hormonal fluctuations influence collagen turnover and tissue integrity. As structural support changes, the way your skin responds to treatment can also change.
What worked five years ago may no longer produce the same response — not because something is wrong, but because your physiology has evolved.

This is often the time to:
• Review your treatment plan
• Adjust intervals
• Reassess priorities
• Focus on regenerative strategies
• Review anatomy and structural needs

Hormonal shifts are not necessarily a setback, more often than not, is a signal to reassess.
