Myth: Surgical Abortion is the only option

Fact: In early pregnancy, there are two safe options for termination of pregnancy.

Medication, taken at home, is available if you are under 9 weeks pregnant. Surgery is available if you are under 14 weeks pregnant.

STI screening is quick, simple, and part of looking after your health 💛

Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea are common infections that often have no symptoms — which means you can have it without knowing it.

A test might include a urine sample, swab, or blood test depending on your situation.

STI screening is fast, easy and confidential. If you have Medicare and are visiting us for an appointment, STI screening can be included for free!

If you’re sexually active, it’s worth making STI checks part of your routine healthcare. Ask us about STI at your next visit.

Checking your IUD strings is recommended at least monthly. This help you to confirm the IUD is still in place and effective.

Occasionally, the IUD can fall out or move within the uterus.

If you notice a change in how your IUD feels or you can no longer feel the strings, speak with your healthcare provider.
