New Australian data shows STIs remain an important health issue, particularly for younger Australians.

In 2025, there were:
• 94,184 chlamydia diagnoses
• 42,393 gonorrhoea diagnoses
• 5,986 syphilis diagnoses

Around half of all chlamydia diagnoses were in people aged 20–29.

The important thing to know? Many STIs have no symptoms.

Whether you have questions about STI testing, contraception, safe s*x or your s*xual health generally, your GP is a good place to start.

Top Health Doctors is looking for an experienced and energetic Registered Nurse to join our team in a unique Group Float Nurse position, working across our network of GP and Skin Cancer clinics throughout Brisbane.

This is not your typical practice nursing role.

As our Group Float Nurse, you’ll become a familiar and valued face across Top Health Doctors, stepping into our clinics when additional nursing support is required and helping our teams during periods of increased demand, leave and changing operational needs.

You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside a wide range of GPs, nurses and teams, experience different clinic environments and patient demographics, and become familiar with the broad range of services offered across our group.

If you enjoy variety, meeting new people and being part of a larger healthcare team, this role offers something genuinely interesting.

You’ll get to know our clinics, our doctors and our teams across Brisbane, while building strong relationships throughout the group.

No two clinics are exactly the same and that is what makes this position so rewarding.

We’re looking for an AHPRA RN who:

• 2–3+ years' experience in Australian general practice nursing

• Is confident working independently within a GP clinic environment

• Brings energy, initiative and a genuinely positive attitude

• Enjoys meeting and working with different teams, doctors and patient populations

• Is adaptable, organised and comfortable moving between different clinic environments

• Has excellent communication and patient-care skills

• Is comfortable travelling between our Brisbane clinics

Experience across areas such as immunisations, wound care, chronic disease management, health assessments, care planning, infection control and general treatment-room nursing will be highly regarded.
