Did you know that hydrotherapy using an underwater treadmill differs from swimming by more closely replicating the muscle activation and gait patterns involved in walking and trotting on dry land? At the same time, it reduces joint stress while providing resistance to help strengthen muscles. This makes it highly beneficial not only for dogs recovering from injury or surgery but also for sporting dogs, as it enhances their overall fitness.
