Fun Fact Friday!

When the Chinese characters for 'CRISIS' are translated in isolation, they represent: 'DANGER'; and 'CHANGE POINT' in English.

So essentially, the characters describe how a crisis may be sensed and experienced as a threat (danger); however it also offers an opportunity (point) for change ✨🙌

Interestingly, the second character was previously mistaken to represent the word 'OPPORTUNITY'. This misinterpretation is said to have become popularised from one of John F. Kennedy's presidential campaigns - (Chinese Whispers perhaps?) 🤫😉
