The Plant Power Coach 🥦 Plant based weight loss & health transformation
🥦 Cert. WFPB, health & life coach It was a melanoma scare, at age 44, that kicked my butt.

I struggled with achieving then maintaining my ideal body weight for around 20 years. I'd been vegetarian over 20 years, and cancer meant it was time to get back to veganism. That sent me down the rabbit warren researching the link between diet and health, specifically cancer. That's where I discovered the Whole Foods Plant Based community, experts, and in particular T Colin Campbell, The China St

udy, and Forks Over Knives. Changing my diet to a WFPB diet had profound effects on both my health & weight. I studied WFPB Nutrition with CNS & eCornell, and Holistic Health & Habit Change Coaching at HCI, and set off with nothing but a desire to help others become their healthiest and leanest selves too. I then added a Life Coaching to string to the bow, to help people navigate life's challenges without interrupting their health & weight loss goals. I'm also a Medical Intuitive in training.

At the height of my weight struggle, I genuinely believed I wasn’t losing weight because I wasn’t eating enough protein.

I was vegan. Surrounded by gym bros who promoted more protein, less carbs, protein is everything.

So I tried what they said. The vegan way.

Faux meats. Protein powders. Isolated protein everything.

And I was miserable.

Hungry all the time. Depleted. Starving between meals.

Eating things that tasted genuinely awful and wondering why I couldn’t stay consistent.

I thought the problem was my commitment.
It wasn’t. It was the information.

I didn’t understand that isolated protein foods - powders, faux meats, processed alternatives - have almost no fibre.

And fibre is the thing that fills your stomach, triggers your satiety signals, slows digestion, and keeps you satisfied for hours.

I food was eating didn’t help me feel full and satisfied, and left me craving more food twenty minutes later.

Nobody had told me about calorie density.

That a gram of protein from a lentil behaves completely differently in your body than a gram of protein from a powder - because the lentil comes with fibre, water, volume, and all the things that actually make you feel full.

Nobody had told me that carbohydrates weren’t the enemy.

That potatoes and rice and legumes and whole grains were actually my best friends for fat loss - when built into a plate with enough volume.

Nobody told me that vegetables are the secret to lowering total plate calories without reducing volume.

The gym bros weren’t trying to mislead me. They just didn’t know either.

Here’s what I know now: fat loss on a plant-based diet is not about chasing more protein.

It’s about understanding calorie density, building volume into every meal, eating plenty of fibre-rich whole plant foods, naturally low in calories, and letting your body do what it was designed to do.

I achieved my last 7kg fat loss eating more food than I ever had before.

High carb. High volume.
Cravings gone. Satisfaction high.
Consistency high. Energy high.
And fat loss became an easy side effect.

Comment GUIDE below and I’ll send you The PLANT Method - the framework I wish I’d had back then.

If you’re relying on willpower and motivation to lose weight on a plant based diet, you’re doing it the hard way.

Those who are successful never rely on these to always be present.

Instead they:

1️⃣ Design their environment to support their goals
2️⃣ Build habits starting small and increasing over time instead of starting again Monday
3️⃣ Decide who they want to BE and make decisions based on being that person NOW

I did a full training on this inside my Facebook group Plant Based Health & Weight Loss Support

If you’re relying on willpower and motivation to achieve your plant based weight goal, you’re doing it the hard way.

And deep down, you already know it.
You know because you’ve started over more times than you can count.

You know because you’ve had the conversation with yourself - “this time I’m serious, this time it’s going to be different” - and meant it every single time.

You know because you’re exhausted from trying so hard at something that shouldn’t be this hard.

You wake up motivated.
You’re good for a few days, maybe a week.

And then something happens - a stressful day, a bad night’s sleep, a cranky emotion, a moment of weakness at 8pm - and the whole thing unravels.

And then comes the worst part - the story you tell yourself about what that means.

That you’re the problem. That you don’t have what it takes. That everyone else can do this except you.

But you’re NOT the problem.
You’re just using the wrong strategy.

Willpower is a finite resource.
It depletes - every single decision you make draws it down.
By the time you’re standing in your kitchen at the end of a long day, it’s gone.

Motivation is even less reliable.
It’s a feeling.
And feelings don’t show up on a schedule.

So tomorrow morning I’m going live inside my FB group to talk about what actually works instead.

The neuroscience of how habits really form.

How they live in a completely different part of your brain to willpower.

And the system that makes the helpful choices automatic - so you stop relying on “feeling like it”.

The women who succeed at weight loss don’t have more discipline than you.

They stop relying on emotions, and use better strategies instead.

Excess weight isn’t just physical, it’s metaphysical.
What are you holding onto, not letting go of, protecting or protecting yourself from?

If one more person tells you to “just eat in a calorie deficit” to lose weight… (as if you just hadn’t thought of that) I completely understand the eye roll.

You know what a calorie deficit is. You’ve been in one. Multiple times.

The reason it doesn’t stick is not the deficit.

It’s what happens in your head and your nervous system the moment things get hard.

😩 It’s the craving that hits at the exact same time every day and feels completely impossible to resist.
😩 It’s the stress of a bad day that derails a whole week.
😩 It’s the habit loop that runs on autopilot before you even consciously realise you’re doing it.

The eating is the SYMPTOM. The brain’s neural pathway to “solve” your current problem is the CAUSE.

And the moment you stop treating the symptom and start addressing the cause - that’s when something finally changes in a way that actually lasts.

My client S told me last week that “OMG, this is clicking now, I’m on a roll” - down 8lb after a lifetime of using food to soothe and weight struggle.

My client V is extremely in control of her eating - even while going through a very stressful personal situation - after a lifetime of using food to soothe… and is almost 20lb down.

My client R no longer stress eats to get through her working day, and is 15lb down.

If stress cravings & emotional eating are slowing your weight loss success - then this is what we’re addressing in my upcoming FREE 4-day “𝘽𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙠 𝙊𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙮𝙘𝙡𝙚𝙨” workshop next week.

I’ll teach you how to break the reactionary eating response to stress and emotions, and solve the problem under the symptom…

So that achieving your weight loss goals gets EASIER not HARDER.

Comment or message me OVEREATER if you want more details.

Still a few spots left.

When my mum died in early 2020, I went on a bit of a splurge 🙈

After the grief and the stress of the day, my brain would start calling.

Just something to take the edge off. Just a little relief. Just tonight.

Vegan chocolate biscuits, chips, snack foods, drinking almost a bottle of red every night…

I knew those choices were NOT serving my health, my body was wearing the consequences…

My jeans were getting tighter. My energy was gone. And I felt completely powerless to stop.

But I learned how to pull myself out of the trap.

I didn’t just change my diet from vegan to WFPB…

I developed a PAUSE Method to break up with my emotional eating & cravings - I still use it today.

This process is now what my clients use to break overeating habits like emotional eating, bingeing dopamine cravings, urges, habitual eating, and any other eating behaviour that sabotages their weight loss goals.

C used it to stop eating for comfort and stress relief → down 50lb.

F used it to break up with stress eating → making her 30lb weight loss feel easier.

V used it through the most stressful period of her life → eating calmly, down 20lb, finally feels free.

S told me last week: “This is clicking” → no more stress snacking, down 8lb.

If you’re a plant based woman struggling to achieve your weight loss goal because cravings, bingeing, emotional eating keep winning…

I’m teaching my PAUSE Method next week in my FREE 4-day “𝘽𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙠 𝙊𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙮𝙘𝙡𝙚𝙨” Workshop.

You’ll leave with the tools to break your reactive eating patterns and develop a calmer and healthier relationship with food, so that weight loss starts to feel easier.

You’ve been good all week. Like, really good.

Eating whole plants, healthy, 50/50 plate.

And then something happens - a hard day, a boring evening, a single stressful moment - and suddenly you’re standing in front of the pantry at 9pm stuffing Oreo’s you bought for the kids.

And the worst part is… you weren’t even hungry.

This is what most weight loss programs don’t teach you.

They give you the “what to eat”.

They never touch on the “why you’re eating what and when you’re eating”.

So you follow the rules perfectly right up until the moment “life” shows up - and then the same old patterns take over, and you’re back at square one wondering what’s wrong with you.

Nothing is wrong with you.

What’s happening is your nervous system has been running on autopilot for years, using food to manage emotions, chase comfort, and escape discomfort.

You don’t lack willpower, you’re just running a habit loop.

And habits can be changed.

I’m running my FREE 4-day workshop called “𝘽𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙠 𝙊𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙮𝙘𝙡𝙚𝙨” again shortly…

This is where we separate body hunger from brain hunger…

and relearn how to honour our body’s cues not our brain’s habits & dopamine seeking desires.

If brain hunger & old habit loops are standing between you and your weight loss goals, this event is for you.

Kicking off April 27th.

You know to eat whole foods, plenty of veg. You’ve known for years. ⁣

So why is the weight still there? ⁣

Because your problem was never actually the food. ⁣

It was never the meal plan, or the macros, or finding the “perfect” plate building method. ⁣

You could follow the most perfect weight loss eating plan on the planet and still sabotage it by Friday…⁣

Not because you’re undisciplined, but because your brain has completely hijacked the process. ⁣

Here’s what I mean:⁣

You’re not overeating because you’re hungry. ⁣

You’re overeating because you’re tired, or stressed, or bored, or because it’s 3pm and that’s just what you do at 3pm. ⁣

You’re eating because your brain is chasing a hit of dopamine, or trying to numb something uncomfortable, or following a loop it learned so long ago you don’t even remember when it started. ⁣

Your body is not the problem. ⁣

Your body actually knows exactly what it needs - when it’s hungry, when it’s full, when it’s had enough. ⁣

Your body has always known. ⁣

It’s your brain that stopped listening. ⁣

And until you address THAT, no perfect meal plan is going to save you.⁣

This is exactly what we’re breaking inside my FREE 4-day workshop, “𝘽𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙠 𝙊𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙮𝙘𝙡𝙚𝙨”.⁣

If you know this is what you need, comment OVEREATER below and I’ll drop you details.⁣

28/03/2026

If you keep reaching for highly processed foods, alcohol, or anything that gives a quick hit when you’re feeling stressed, emotional, bored…

This is why it feels impossible to stop.

Those foods are designed to overstimulate your brain’s reward system.
They create a sharp spike in dopamine which feels like relief, comfort, even escape.

But your brain is always trying to stay balanced.

So when you keep pushing it up with high dopamine hits… it pushes back down.

Lower mood.
Less motivation.
Flat, heavy, sometimes even depressed.

Not because something is wrong with you.
Because your brain is compensating.

And over time, your baseline drops.

So now normal life feels harder.
Small discomfort feels bigger.
And the urge to escape it gets stronger.

That’s the loop.

More stimulation → lower baseline → more need → more pain.

This isn’t a discipline problem.
It’s a learned pattern your brain has adapted to.

And just taking the food away doesn’t fix it.

Because the real issue isn’t the food.
It’s what the food is doing for you.

Relief.
Numbing.
Comfort.
Distraction.

So the work is this:

Removing the stimulating foods from your environment. Period.
Learning how to feel discomfort without needing to escape it
Regulating your nervous system in a healthy way

Then building new ways to meet your emotional needs.

Self love
Breathwork
Hugs from a loved one
Calling a friend
Walking in nature

(Because, you’re human, emotions ain’t going away)

This allows your brain to stabilise again

When your brain learns
“I can feel this and I’m safe”
“I don’t need food to get through this”

Everything starts to change.

Your brain rewires.
Your baseline dopamine & happiness lifts.
Your urges lose intensity.
And food stops feeling like the only option.

It’s the colour of the heart energy centre/chakra.

It’s also the colour of growth and transformation.

It’s why I chose it for my brand colour…

👉🏻 growth & transformation

You will have seen this Xmas AI pic trend circling, the original is pink & red, so of course I had to change it to green.

Let’s change it to GREEN… and start a NEW trend, a GREEN, health-focused, heart-centred, growth & transformation-based Xmas.

And let that be your focus as you move into 2026.

Use Google Gemini app to create your own, using a current picture of you.
