Routine [ruːˈtiːn] /noun/ ruːˈtiːn - a usual or fixed way of doing things

Many people will consciously (or subconsciously!) opt to follow a routine to help with time management, self organisation, or simply "make things easier."

For others, a routine is a MUST. This can be seen as restrictive on their day-to-day life; however, this can often be the key to independence.

2022 theme is ‘Transformative solutions for inclusive development: the role of innovation in fuelling an accessible and equitable world’.

IDPwD, and all other days within the year, is an opportunity for us to make positive changes to the lives of the 4.4 million Australians with disability.

(A little late to the party but...)

It was OT WEEK! 💜💛💜💛

A week in which the beautiful nature and opportunities that OT provides is celebrated.

With the crazy few events we've had - floods, fires and a pandemic, occupational therapists have been vital in helping people participate in activities they find meaningful, during the disaster recoveries.
As disaster survivors reengage in disrupted occupations (such as daily routines, activities and employment), they can better cope with stress and be supported through their recovery.

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn;
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning,
We will remember them.

We thank our past, present and future service men and women for their sacrifices so that we live as fortunately as we do.
