When we are feeling low its easy to feel disconnected and isolated. One of the principle features of the Self-Compassion approach is the idea to connect out to the wider community in our various states. "I wonder how many others are feeling the same way that I feel right now?" and send that self-energy out into the world and see if you can feel a sense of connection in those moments

Experience feelings like frustration, anxiety and insecurity, our heart-rhythm patterns become more erratic. These erratic patterns are sent to the emotional centers in the brain, which recognizes them as stressful feelings.
