As both a Diabetes Educator and Sandtray Therapist, I’m privileged to work alongside children, young people and families from many different backgrounds. This week is a reminder to listen deeply, continue learning, and provide care that is culturally safe, respectful and person-centred.
Whether I’m supporting someone to navigate life with diabetes or creating a space where stories can be expressed through sandtray, connection always comes first ❤️

If I wasn’t a Nurse 👩🏻‍⚕️ I’d be a teacher 👩🏻‍🏫 But as a diabetes educator, I am so happy that I can do do both ! Teach about health ❤️‍🩹 I truly feel privileged to educate my clients and to share my knowledge with those starting out in their educator careers

I took the leap 😊

This week I joined Queensland Health after 8 years with NSW Health 🏥

A new chapter, new team, and lots to look forward to 💟 🗣️ Im still continuing my private practice 👩🏻‍⚕️ and medical trauma play therapy ❤️‍🩹
