This is the last day of my three years in Bali anniversary month so I thought it was really a time to reflect and post. Three years of living in this beautiful country; somewhere my paternal grandpa lived in for a couple of years during the 1960s. Though I didnāt realise this until after Iād moved here.
Iād never even been on holiday here when I received a dream clear as day telling me the life I wanted was to be found in Bali. It took another 8 months to make it here, but that dream certainly wasnāt wrong. Bali has many MAJOR downsides, but this is still the place I feel most at home and content that Iāve ever lived. Which is unsurprising since when I did a location reading (with Jadeās method which Steven Spielberg uses for filming locations), I had four same degree conjunctions with Ubud, meaning I have some serious past-life karma with this place.
The last three years have been a huge journey into solitude, true contentment and very simplistic living, high raw, very high fruit and greens eating, into becoming a full time professional mystic, and the most beautiful baby dog entering my life.
Ubud comes from āUbadā which means āmedicineā and this place has incredibly potent healing energy. Iāve been largely very unimpressed with the āspiritualā scene, but itās certainly been an incredible setting for me to go deeply into my own personal practice, spend hours most days in spiritual study, and comfortably get to a place within myself where I am comfortable with my intuition and compassion rather than my intellect largely being the qualities employed in my work. Itās been incredible to see how quickly this work took off for me once I stepped fully into it.
I donāt know how many years Bali will want me here, but I know Iāll always look back on these years as some of the most incredible in my life. š
