Congratulations to the 14 South Australian riders who chose yesterday to train in Motorcycle Crash Management because they believe YOUR LIFE is worth it.

We have 6 more courses across South Australia that are only $20 instead of the over $100 you normally pay for our specialist training, thanks to Think Road Safety SA.

This is the perfect time for your group to become known for safe riding practices as well as still having fun! Just because you have a liscence doesn't mean you know it all about riding. (take it from us we know this first hand)

Check out our website and our events to find out when one is near you.

In case you have missed this

More than “just” First Aid. Motorcycle Crash Management training is about What to do when the minutes matter.
We built this training so you can be better prepared than we were, with a clear plan and practical skills that hold up when things get messy.
The goal is simple: more confidence, better decisions, and better outcomes for riders, pillions, and the people waiting at home.

Most first aid courses teach the basics in a classroom.

At First Aid for Motorcyclists, we teach the whole ride-day picture not just first aid.

From before you even throw a leg over in the morning, to the decisions you make on the road, to what happens if it all goes pear-shaped, and right through to getting everyone home (and supported afterwards).

You’ll learn how to think like a calm leader: understand who you’re riding with, set up a safer group ride no matter the size, and build simple habits that reduce risk without killing the fun.

And if you’re riding solo, you’ll know what to do when you come across an incident and you’re the first one there how to make the scene safer, call it in, and take the right actions in the right order when things are a bit rough around the edges.

Yes, we cover the critical first aid skills breathing, bleeding, burns, and bones but we also train you in scene management, communication, and practical decision-making so you can move from panic to control, fast. It’s about making small changes in how you ride, plan, and respond… that can lead to lifelong saves.

Every person who attends is supplied Morning tea, lunch and a take home pack, as well as goes into our quarterly draw for an advanced rider training course - paid for by us, and an entry to win an Elliot AED ( total value for both is $1800)

to book you can click the link https://reg.eventgate.com.au/Event/29806/MCMT-Gladstone-QLD or go to our website or the events tab on our page

Burns on a bike trip are brutal and what you do in the first few minutes can be the difference between a nasty blister… or weeks of dressings (and sometimes skin grafts).

This little collapsible cup is one of my favourite “tiny kit, big impact” items.

Why? Because the best first aid for most burns is cool running water for 20 minutes and when you’re out riding, you rarely have a tap. This cup lets you actually manage the water you’ve got and keep cooling the burn properly, instead of one quick splash and hoping for the best.

It packs down to almost nothing, weighs bugger-all, and could genuinely save your skin.

If you ride (or travel) and you’ve got a first aid kit… you’ll want one of these in it.

This is personal.

I have lived what happens when a crash turns everything upside down. I was there. I tried to help. I had done first aid many times and even held a nursing qualification, but on the side of the road it is different. No bells and whistles. Noise, chaos, pressure, and your heart racing.

That day changed my life, and I do not want you or your mates to ever feel that helpless.

And this is not just first aid.

Motorcycle Crash Management is about what to do before, during, and after a crash. It is practical, motorcycle specific, and there is no other course like it.

QLD friends, we have subsidies right now so the course is only $50. After this week, QLD courses start from $125.
Bring a mate. Because it is usually a friend who is first on scene.
Plus you walk away with a $52 first aid kit and other goodies.
