With needling , cheaper doesn’t mean better …
I’ve seen clinics charging $100 and $150 for skin needling .. and with needling cartridges costing from $29 alone … I ask myself what are they cutting to be able to afford to do the treatment so cheap .. sadly , often it’s hygiene and safety precautions.
Sterile gloves , saline , sterile dressing packs , disinfectant … continued education not to mention insurance all costs money which I include in the price of the treatment .

Every so often I like to refresh my brain on brands that still test on animals . I can’t believe in 2026 it’s still happening .
I know many people are still using these well loved brands and I try and steer you towards a better option as best I can .
Many of these brands are also so bad for your skin barrier ( La roshe posay and ceraVe I’m looking at you 👀)

These are the current brands on the SOMA naughty list

❌ Clinique
❌ clarins
❌ ceraVe

❌ cetaphil
❌ L'Oréal Group: L'Oréal Paris, Maybelline, Kiehl's, Lancôme.
❌ Estée Lauder Companies: MAC, Clinique, Bobbi Brown, Origins. One thing to note is the ordinary is owned by Estée Lauder but claims to be cruelty free . ( another side note worth mentioning is Ronald Lauder is in THOSE files 😢)

Could Micellar water be destroying your skin barrier?
Keep reading if you want to know why I don’t recommend …

Micellar water is essentially just a by product of the petroleum industry. Its essentially spheres of hydrophilic and hydrophobic surfactants ( micelles ) suspended in liquid .
It’s designed to act like a magnet and take off the make up but it also takes your skin barrier with it.
These kind of products usually have ingredients like artificial fragrance, Propylene Glycol / Butylene Glycol which is a by product of propylene - ew - Which are far too harsh for the skin , and when left on the skin cause dryness , irritation, trans epidermal water loss ( TEWL) contact dermatitis and an impaired barrier .

Most people only use micellar water as a cleanser , which isn’t giving your skin the adequate cleansing it needs , then combined with leaving it on is a recipe for a compromised skin barrier , clogged skin and breakouts in acne prone skin .

Micellar water is NOT Soma approved ( and I only have it because I was given it and I only use it for the above reasons)
Especially for those with rosacea/ sensitive skin / peri oral dermatitis/ acne . If using to remove heavy stage make up follow with an adequate double cleanse .

Slide 1 - regular monthly facials that include LED with personalised prescription skincare

Slide 2 - before and after of just one oxygenating facial with LED

Slide 3- LED package of 12 with Organic Spa skincare with a slight diet change .

Slide 4 - 1 LED facial using red and NIR light . These are not edited . This is directly before and after .

Slide 5- another direct before and after 1 LED facial .

Slide 6- this is after 2 calming facials with LED add on .

Slide 7 - a series of needling . Including nano infusion , micro pricking for pigmentation reduction and microneedling collagen induction . About 6-8 months apart with a series of personal prescription skincare
