🚨 The National AusAlert test will take place at 2:00 pm AEST across NSW 🚨

If your hearing aid or cochlear implant is connected to your phone via Bluetooth, switch Bluetooth off before 1:00 pm if you don't want the 10-second test siren streamed directly to your hearing device.

On Monday 27 July, the Australian Government will conduct a national test of AusAlert, Australia's new emergency warning system.

At approximately:
🕛 12:00 pm AWST – Western Australia
🕜 1:30 pm ACST – Northern Territory, South Australia and Broken Hill (NSW)
🕑 2:00 pm AEST – Queensland, New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory, Victoria and Tasmania

The alert will be sent to compatible mobile phones, tablets and smart watches.

If your hearing aid or cochlear implant is connected to your phone or other device via Bluetooth, you may hear the alert through your hearing device. This is expected and does not indicate a problem with your hearing aid or cochlear implant.
