✨ Introducing the Nova Hyperemesis (HG) Clinic ✨
For some women, pregnancy isn't simply about morning sickness.
Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG) is a serious pregnancy condition that causes persistent nausea and vomiting, often making it difficult to eat, drink, work, care for family, or simply get through the day. It can be physically exhausting, emotionally isolating, and overwhelming.
At Nova, we know that early support and ongoing care can make a real difference.
Our new Hyperemesis (HG) Clinic has been developed to provide dedicated care for women experiencing mild to moderate pregnancy sickness, with the reassurance of seeing the midwives and clinicians you already know and trust.
💛 Our clinic offers:
• Early assessment and symptom management
• Individualised care plans
• Monitoring of hydration, nutrition and wellbeing
• Continuity of care with your Nova midwifery team
• A calm, private environment where you'll be listened to and supported
For women experiencing severe dehydration or acute Hyperemesis Gravidarum, the Hyperemesis Clinic at Wagga Base Hospital remains the most appropriate place for urgent treatment, and we'll continue to work closely with the hospital team to ensure you receive the care you need.
Pregnancy can be hard enough without feeling like you have to struggle through it alone.
If nausea and vomiting are beginning to affect your daily life, please reach out. The earlier we can help, the sooner we can support you.
